Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

Can only agree with those wanting a firmer stance on drink driving really.

I'd also go with a zero limit publically, but in practice allow very small amounts for accidental ingestion etc.

I was one of those who used to have "just a couple" in the pub & then drive home frequently. Stepping out of that bubble, it's clearly not worth it really, may as well have a coffee/coke/Becks Blue etc.

The straw that broke the camels back so to speak was on one solitary occasion during a very stressful time after a very heated row with the missus, in which I went out and had about 6 or 7 pints after no food then proceeded to come home, to more rowing, so I took the car keys & fecked off on a 60 mile round trip over to the Wirral for no particular reason involving the M56 motorway at some point, eventually getting back home when it was dark...

...and then waking up the following morning and thinking "WTF?"

That was definitely not my proudest moment and so anyone equipped with brain cells makes the requisite adjustment in thinking.

Don't ever underestimate the human capacity to do fecking stupid things in the heat of the moment especially whilst under the cosh - and especially whilst under the influence of Alcohol.

Hence me now being over 5 years teetotal ;)

I don't see the point in it (drink driving)... it is probably because I am not that big a drinker anyway, but if I know i will be driving then I have no particular need or requirement to drink and will just abstain.

Realistically there are probably a couple of times that I have drunk when over the limit, and like others I am sure I could comfortably drive after a couple of pints, but generally why even risk it?

Not as long as it's taken for that joke to get old...:p
Still not old enough. :D

Another solid win. To be 6 points behind an insane Chelsea team isn't bad going.

They've got to come to Anfield as well. And if my karma-o-meter is ticking correctly David Luiz is due a big slip on his arse. Songs shall be sung. :)

Arguably Karius is to blame for his blunders against Bournemouth and West Ham, without them they'd be only 1 point behind.

Passed the 40 point mark before the half way point. Good going so far

Robbie Savage thinks Chelsea are already away & gone. Certainties he reckons.

Good lad is the Sav, :D.

Klopp has just equalled Dalglish's record of his team scoring 100 goals . It took 48 games . Thats is good going . He also beat the 78/79 team with goals scored a few weeks ago. Amazing.

I know it means nothing in terms of winning things but feck me. Good records to beat.

Hope he doesn't make it for the United game either, or at worst only good enough for the bench. Matip also still out for the City game.

I think he'll be back for United. He's almost back in training and that game is over 2 weeks away. Matip isn't as clear as I don't really know the extent of his injury. Disappointing not to have either for City/Sunderland though.

You won't have a problem with Sunderland, but no Coutinho or Matip for the City game is not preferable.

They didn't play especially well today, but I guess they had no urgent need to as City were abysmal. They got their goal and the result so they'll be happy.

Game at Old Trafford will be very interesting.

Liverpool ends the first half of the season as the only team unbeaten by any of the other top 6 teams.

Thankfully for United fans they've had some hilarious defeats against Burnley and Bournemouth which has prevented them from being on top of the table.

We'll have to start getting our heads round to the fact that these feckers might actually win it this time

I'd normally be the first one to panic at them doing this well. However, I really don't think they are going to be good enough over the 38 games.

Getting top four will also ensure they don't win it next season either.

Yeah, I have said for months that I think they will win the league this season. Here's hoping for an implosion. I have no confidence in Chelsea to keep their form up.

I can understand massively the risk of Liverpool winning it. They have a team of fairly average players with a couple of stand outs, but they are playing with such a verve. The huge thing that no one bar me seems to mention, is that they've already played most of their tough aways early season. And got out with wins.

Chelsea look like a machine though, so we need them to continue. But it's essential we do our bit, mostly for ourselves in 2 weeks.

Mane's off to the AN, hopefully Firmy's court date stays on one of their next game dates, and hopefully Coutinho isn't back to top level soon. Those factors could easily throw them off enough to slip.

Presume he means the added pressure of the CL will negatively affect them in the league. Suppose it's conjecture how much it matters although suppose it could also be argued Liverpool benefited in 2013/14 and Leicester last year.

Because no one has won the title while competing in the CL. Ever.

If a title contender has no european football, it's a clear advantage over another, who does.
Under the fat waiter he had to sacrifice the league for champions league glory and Klopp sacrificed the league for the Europa league first half win. Liverpool mounted a challenge last time with Moyes incharge of Utd and having a world class striker leading the line.
Next year things will sort of go back to normal, Leicester and Chelsea screwed it up a bit

My favourite repeated bit of nonsense on this website.

It's just my opinion obviously, but I don't think Liverpool will win the title this season or next season.

I also think that Klopp's style of football will suffer the more other managers get a chance to figure out how to nullify it.

Jose already showed the way at Anfield earlier this season.
