Can't believe people in here are still talking about Pogba being anything but a huge problem - his absence is one of the reasons, in my opinion, why we are better than we were last season

Some of us took a lot longer than others to realise Pogba was never going to produce regularly. But it's astounding anyone can truly think he'd be the answer to anything this season.

Likely to find out where he's going in the next two weeks. Seems like its between either City or Liverpool.

Bellingham is more agile, a better dribbler and contributes more against the ball, Pogba is a better passer, has better ball control and is stronger. But there are definitely some parallels and especially their weaknesses are similar. A knack for hero ball, tactical discipline and refusal to play simple which leads to overall wastefulness.
I agree with this. Agility can have big effects in football imo. For example I'm a big Carrick fan, but if he would have been a bit more agile it would have made a huge difference.

… I can’t even begin to unpick this.

I’ll give you that Pogba is more ponderous in possession but that’s about it.
So this has been said for a long time, I don't agree with it. I don't think the big problem is his slow decision making, I think he's slow at moving the ball at times. Going from the first touch to passing or moving with it, it's slow.

Pogba is one of the most gifted players technically, even today. Bellingham is simply not close to him.
In some ways, I think he struggles in other ways though. He's slow on the ball and requires space.

Patrick Berger (the German Sport1 journalist not the ex Liverpool player) said that Bellingham will tell the club his decision in the second or third week of April.

It seems like Real Madrid are already starting to distance themselves from the transfer. I assume either Liverpool or City will too once he's decided.

One thing that appears pretty clear is that United aren't in the frame.

Makes me laugh how many United fans overlook this boy. He’s just about to clock 200 games, at top-level, men’s professional football, he’s 19!!

You don’t get the likes of Liverpool, PSG, Manchester City, and Real Madrid after a kid if he’s crap!

Nobody overlooks him, just I don't think a midfielder is the spot where we want to spend a 100m+ on.

They’re “cooling on him”. Of course they are.
They're more than likely going to have no champions league football to offer and have an aging core that needs replacing soon. I don't think they're half as appealing for him as they were last summer and earlier in the season when they were blatantly tapping him up

Nobody is allowed to overlook him. He's constantly fawned upon for every little thing.

135m+ that's insane money and makes the Pogba deal back in the day nothing for a midfielder.

I don't think there's many overlooking him, its more that for the money he's going to cost we have much bigger priorities

The scousers on Twitter reckon it’s a tactic to drive the price down
Yeah because he's desperate to join them but Dortmund are holding him ransom.

There's been a few reports over last few weeks that he'll decide after the internationals and that whomever he decides against will start briefing that they're dropping out. This is all on cue (or is it queue?).

Interesting you mention Pogba. Like Pogba, I think Bellingham could potentially be an awkward fit. I don't think he's quite a 10 or an 8. He's kind of inbetween the 2. Think he would absolutely have to be played in a midfield 3, and then you're probably gunna have to sacrifice a genuine #10.
