I think people will be pleasantly surprised by him.
One United weakness in attack last season was lack of composure and flow. From little I've seen he would add massively to that. Those who cries lack of goals when seeing his goal record. He will not necessarily going to score them, but I think his presence in the final third would be massive for our wide forwards

Very interesting choice of signing by the club. Definitely not an out and out front man and doesn’t look like a goalscorer at all. But, he does look like a very skilful forward who could specialise on linking the play and bringing our other attackers into goal scoring positions.
I just don’t know how we will play as in my mind he will be trying to occupy Bruno’s spaces?

I researched a lot more about him and read up the Bologna fan sentiment.
He appears to be more technical than Hojlund and has good dribbling qualities, deceptively agile and quick on a turn for a 6ft 4 player. Capable of playing deep and in the channels, but not a target man. He is best as a false 9 or as part of a front 2. He'd suit Rashford and Garnacho, also Hojlund because he thrives in link ups and getting other team mates through.
Not exactly a beast in the air, not someone to throw his weight around too much and I don't think he has an in-box presence, but appears to thrive on his late runs in to bag a goal or assist.
I can see it as Bruno, McTominay, Mount and Mainoo playing as offensive 8s around him or with Rashford tucking in off the left trying to play between the opposition full back and centre back with Bruno drifting wide. Will need to change formation either way.
Hope he won’t be the only striker we sign. We badly needed an experienced striker who would be an instant improvement on Højlund. This seems like a strange signing to me. But he’s Dutch so I guess he ticks all of ten Hag’s boxes.

I do like statman Dave and do understand the general reasons why we're signing him but unfortunately its always never as simple as that and he's made similar videos about our 'flops' and how they would have transformed our team and style of play.

I don't get the point of signing someone who's not a proven goalscorer... the theme is beginning to sound like an effort to replicate the Class of 94 - without the class. Things like that don't happen in each generation. We should be able - and must - do better

I’m excited by this. He’s the sort of link player we need and he’s excellent on the ball. He also looked pretty mobile when he came on for the Dutch the other night. Anyone judging him negatively based on like 10 minutes of football is an idiot though.

Feel like he could facilitate our wingers to score more?
He very much likes flashy play that looks good but is bad play.
Better vid and they compare the different style to Hojlund. For example Zirkzee gets involved with the ball 2x more than Hojlund does.
How good is he off the ball? If he’s gifted on the ball and likes to create, we can hopefully develop him into a Firmino type contributor even if he’s not a natural goal scorer.

Midfield runners too. He had a great partnership with Lewis Ferguson, who would surge into spaces created by Zirkzee dropping deep and pulling a centre back away.

Lots of tackles and blocks for an attacker. Weirdly worrying how little he will help in the air for his giant size, though.
Rashford will probably play better with him than with Hojlund, some others will play better with Hojlund. Good to have variety and options to change it up, great to be targeting younger players so we aren't replacing declining players every summer. Let's see how he does, but generally I do like it. I don't think he's a better player than Hojlund but both have potential.

Anyone know the reason we are buying him? Except that he is another Dutch player we seem to be obsessed with them(or players who have played there) since we appointed Ten Hag.
Another young striker is literally the last thing we need, and by the looks of it he is not the most talented player ever we don't need to miss signing.

He’s relatively cheap, and the MO seems to be changing to stop signing players over a certain age threshold.
Kind of agree on the second point about having two green strikers, but the fact that he and Hojlund are such radically different no.9s mitigates it a little. You could probably play the two together in some squad permutations

You can't just come in at the last minute and ignore all the input other people have made time to both read and contribute to, especially whilst throwing out the usual 'we only sign Dutch players because of EtH' bollocks. It's very tiring.
Need another CF in the squad to rotate/compete with Hojlund. Good price, gives us something different. Pretty straightforward.
Looks like we might try and negotiate a slightly higher fee than the RC, but won't need to be paid all at once. So you might have to wait a while to get your full share!

Not really. Was mostly in jest. I’d just like this one to be over quickly, so we can plan with the money.
In his brief cameo for the Dutch yesterday I wasn’t too impressed. Didn’t appear to be particularly quick and seemed to lack some aggression. Was more impressed with Yilmaz for Turkey (although he seems to be a wide forward).
You’re getting about 60m from us this summer. Be grateful and wait until we’re good and ready.
Will be a huge help to our inverted wingers, Rashford and Garnacho. Can also see it helping Bruno get back amongst the goals. Imagine Zirkzee dropping deep, a CB following him and it allowing space for the likes of Marcus to get in
