He can have Mata, Matic, Dalot, Periera and Phil Jones for 40 mill. That should get him started.
If Sam Allardyce can keep on getting jobs, I don't see how Mourinho couldn't.
I actually think that this job might be just right for him.
A club who has been floundering recently so no real expectations to win anything of note, fans who are sick of their open expansive play and want to tighten it up, a league where there aren't any mega teams to compete against, gives a lot of media / fan interest to Roma, the Italian media also view Mourinho a lot different than the English media and won't purposely try to tear him down the second he drops a player.
On a personal note I hope he does well there so the league isn't as boring as it has been for a long time in regards to title challenges

Sam's achievements are legendary...
A no money Fire Fighter and has had remarkable success at saving teams from the drop and all that comes with that
just look at the ex EPL teams that have slipped into the lower league doldrums' and find it so hard to return
The Mourinho effect.
I think Mourinho has been on a cash-grab tour with his last 4 jobs (since his return to Chelsea). He would take any club if they pay him enough.I actually think this job might be even worse for him than the ones he's had in recent years. Because it's going to require exactly the qualities he most conspicuously lack: Working with youth, nurturing talent, pragmatically adapting style of play to the character of the squad, building confidence and commitment from the players. With no big transfer funding, he can't afford a man management style that routinely leaves good players by the wayside.
Maybe you should start a blog if you don't want any replies from other posters. Also do you want me to remind who replied to whose post? That too with irrelevant nonsense. At least if that was somewhere relevant and not usual nonsense, then you can expect proper reply.
It's rich you calling anyone a sensitive soul
You will always be the poster with s missing and your every post just proves that.
All he has to do is get champions league football and he will be seen as a success which is easily more possible than the more competitive premier league
Why would he desperately want to sign this Mata when he willingly sold prime Mata?I hope he does take Mata and Matic with him, that could easily be a win for all concerned.
He actually used him regularly at United. Don’t think he will sign him, but not impossible. Why would he desperately want to sign this Mata when we willingly sold prime Mata?
How many beers have you hadI can see Conte rocking up at Spurs.
The Mourinho effect.
One of them. Give it two years and their stock will be in the toilet.

BOGOConte & Mourinho in Serie A is like heaven.
RyanAir on Twitter:
"Jose will be happy to know that we currently fly London to Rome from only £14.99. Due to his lack of trophies at Spurs, we expect a carry-on bag will suffice for this trip."
Savage.
Dont think he'd say no to Real now, he didn't when he was at his peak in 2010 and certainly wouldn't in his current state, just like Ancelotti.Reported that Real talked with him about the managerial job just before appointing Carlo, and that he wasn't interested in a return. Now, I expect most people to think it's rubbish, but wouldn't Real feel the need to reject that if untrue?
Pretty amazing if that's what happened.
