Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

I doubt Wenger would ever be sacked now, not officially anyway, and I don't know of anyone who'd do a better job with Arsenal. Back to back FA Cups and continued top four finishes aren't a sackable offence with their spending.

What ever happened to that ridiculous thread about no one being able to win the league apart from Chelsea in the foreseeable?

"Mutual agreement" probably. He won't resign. He'll get called into a meeting with Roman who'll pay him off to go quietly.

I don't think it will happen (and don't want it to) but it would certainly not surprise me in the slightest.

But who will replace him?

I think he's been angling for a move for a while and that whole story of him staying for years and years... "as long as Abramovic wants me" was a bit contrived.

It reminded me of this article: http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11065/7339197/the-art-of-negotiation
How players try to engineer moves away without forfeiting their right to a contract payout. As he's in year 3, it's like he's trying to engineer a move away and get Roman to pay for the expenses.

Klopp and Simeone must be high on the list. Can't see Simeone wanting to leave Atletico though, especially for a poor Chelsea side.*

*Poor in the sense that Atletico are much better, obviously they are PL champions.

It worked!

Ah feck it, you canny bastard.

Hooray for chronological bias merging and common sense!

@Pexbo did you just merge the 2 threads?

It was quite possibly merged by my sheer determination and will but most likely an admin or mod that abhor duplicate threads even more than they abhor seeing me get my way.

If they sack him they could be stuck with a caretaker manager.

I could see Gus Hiddink coming in.

I have no idea what's going on. He isn't the same manager he was before, I can tell you that.
