Has the support of the fans. Have to applaud the Chelsea fans for sticking by him during this difficult time.

Having said that, no friggin idea how long this can go on for. Are they going to pull a Blackburn?

Can't knock the Chelsea fans but it's under odd circumstances. Lack of options makes Mourinho the only real option, if Klopp was still around I'm sure some of their fans would say just to get him. Also Mourinho is right, he has been their best manager and if they get rid of him now, he'll never come back.

If they want to sack him, now would be the best time. International break coming up so they'll have time to bring in a replacement.

Must be close.

they've sacked managers when they've been in much better positions, so this Is a really odd scenario now.
they can't keep losing games, 7 in 12 league games?! That is unthinkable. I wonder if they've lost more than that in the last 10 league seasons over a whole season? Maybe the year they came 5th?

Last time they missed the top 4, they were very very fortunate to win it, and thus stay in the next year. That aided them to get Hazard. Without it, they are in real problems.

And I love it.

At current rate, they are going to lose 22 games this season.

I ve read on chelsea forums they were always gonna sack him in the international break.

has to go now.

Terry and Rodgers management dream team until the end of the season.

You heard it here first!

Not even picking up points from draws.

Unless something extraordinary happens and they get into a relegation battle, they should still stick with him, his CV has earnt that, imo

That said, if they do sack him, not sure where he will go, maybe try his luck at PSG?

Costa reported by stoke steward for assaulting him... Good few outlets reporting it

They'll struggle to make the top half if they keep him. They are like Madrid in the mid-2000's, they have fired so many good managers that they have no one to turn to.

The new TV rights deal comes in 2016 where the bottom placed team will get more than first did last season so they'll be okay with one poor season. Mourinho would cost something daft like 30M to sack now so they won't be doing that. He'd be gone by now if he was to be sacked IMO.

I read it'll cost £9m to sack him.

FFS if the steward reported him for that he should be ashamed of himself

Edit - Although Costa has no brain at all

From the messages coming out of the press that cover Chelsea , he had three games to save himself, Liverpool , Kiev and Stoke.

With the international window coming up, this gives Chelsea time to get everything sorted out. Just like Pool did with Rodgers. Roman is a ruthless man, and they paid out 15 mil to sack AVB just a few years ago. Chelsea would pay it again. I would be quite suprised and rather impressed if they kept him after this.

Dan Levene (first to say he was getting sacked after Stoke) changed his mind a few days ago, besides, who is there to replace him? Nobody available.

Not as bad as I thought if true, but he must be on at least 6m per year so seems a bit on the low side to me.
