Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

Do Chelsea fans want him out?
No, but a lot of them want him to do something! At the moment he is just playing the same team, scapegoating the wrong players and complaining about the performance.

He's not playing the same team. He's made quite a few changes in each game. No consistency and players out of form.

From a neutral perspective it just seems like all of your players have turned to shit overnight. Must be a mental thing because it's a talented squad. Mourinho has to sort it out and I don't see how he can do that without buying heavily in January. What can he change?

I would say it has echoes of Moyes but this is worse because there has been no managerial change. It's all the same, except with Pedro.

His problem is he's a narcissistic prick and too focused on his own actions and facial expressions on the bench and his hilarious antics at press conferences. He acts his way through management and after a while the players see through that.

Ferguson was never aware of the cameras at games, he was too focused on winning. And everything he said and done was for the good of his team, not for his own image or profile.

A brilliant short term manager but I suppose no other manager in the world can compare to Fergusons longevity

Mourinho is an instant fix manager, he doesn't build he just does what he needs to do to get results immediately, hence the inevitable decline when he stays somewhere for a while

It's not the losing that is the problem. The problem on his side is the lack of any sort of change at all. Every game he puts out the same team and every game we lose. Either Mourinho has genuinely gone insane or he just doesn't care enough to change it. I can't think of any other reasonable excuse for why Ivanovic and Fabregas start every single game despite being absolute shit.

Genuine question, who would you play instead? I think Chelsea have a great first 11 when on form but you don't seem to have the squad depth that other teams such as City have. If that is a hindrance then it is even more strange when you have so many players elsewhere on loan.

He has to go. There's no way he will be able to turn it around.

he doesn't know what his best team is. that's a problem.

He's making Moyes' season seem positively fantastic in comparison

He'll run off sooner or later. Come to think of it, this stint along with the Real one will be considered failures.

Mourinho doesn't strengthen his side when they are on top. It's something that SAF always said was crucial to do. If you don't, your squad becomes stale and complacent, and you become predictable and get found out by the opposition.

Yeah I think it's over for him too. I can't see him changing anything, if he would have any good idea he what to do he would do it by now. Abramovich won't tolerate this shit.

Abramovic has pulled the trigger at this type of situation before, wonder if he's already gently putting feelers out for Klopp and people.

Sheer complacency in the summer with transfers didn't help anything. Especially as they tailed off a fair bit near the end of last year.

This would probably be my team:

Willian---Remy---Kenedy
Oscar---Matic---Loftus-Cheek
Baba Rahman---Zouma---Cahill---Azpilicueta

All of those players have shown more then their counterparts when played. Hazard has done nothing and hasn't looked interested so far, Fabregas has been worse then shit, Ivanovic is finished sadly and Cahill/zouma was a good partnership. Willian looked really good on the left, Oscar would be much player without the shackles of having to cover for Fabregas all the time and RLC offers more drive and pace in midfield. Also, Kenedy looks really good and direct coming from the left.

On the bright side he could end up having plenty of time to comment on Wenger's performance

The players are just not turning up for him anymore.

Hazard looks second rate, Fabregas is not having his half season wonder performances, Matic, Ivanovic, Oscar and Terry just don't know how to play football anymore. The only player who looks any good IMO is Willian, but that's not hard in this Chelsea team.

Looks like he has lost the dressing room.

Only thing even making these games seem close are Willians free kicks

I said after the porto game that I can't understand this strange belief that everything will be OK soon even though nothing on the pitch had shown any improvement. Jose is making random changes every game with no real direction about what he is trying to do. There has been so much criticism for their defense but they are getting no protection at all and their attackers aren't doing anything at all. Almost all their goals recently have long range strikes and they created nothing in the second half today. Will be interesting to see how Jose turns this around but I think there is a good chance he will be sacked during the international break

The parallels are getting ridiculous now, for Wilkins you have carneiro, an early autumn slump, players loosing faith, he will be gone by the end of October and like last time we will win the cl :)

This was the club I thought that Mourinho was open to settling down and creating some kind of lasting impact. He can turn this around, and he should have enough in the bank to get the time to do that, but this a big shock to me personally. Not to say I'm not enjoying this Chelsea slump!

I was convinced that Mourinho had the ability to manage a long term transition at a club. It isn't a write-off altogether, but this third season syndrome does nothing to negate the observations that he is in fact a short-termist hired gun for silverware.

Plus, there is more to this than meets the eye. He's been behaving oddly all season, their transfer business was disjointed and the situation with Terry borders on destructive.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was to pack it all in.

I cant believe I am saying this, but keeping him now is a good thing for the rest of us...he has lost the dressing room entirely..it reminds me exactly of what happened with Madrid

It's just shocking how bad he is when it comes to trusting and developing young talents. I can't think of a great manager (and he's obviously one), who has been that bad when it comes to that. There's no way, he'll stay longterm at any club if he doesn't change his approach to youth players.

He's going off against referees now. Will definitely get a ban.

Jose giving his version of Rodgers like press conference, complaining about a campaign
