I hate that he was ever Utd manager. The man should never have been allowed near the club and was the culmination of the post Fergie panic years, throwing names at the problem, hoping star quality could provide a quick fix. He should have been sacked 2 mins after the Sevilla press conference ended.

Leicester have a good squad a wealthy owner who doesn’t mind bankrolling the team, little pressure.
Contrast with Spurs. Massively in debt during a global pandemic that is decimating football club’s finances, only two top tier players, an owner who is a famous skinflint.
Spurs are a bigger name historically but I’d bet a sizeable amount that in 5 years or so Leicester are the more ‘established’ top6 club.

This is not meant as a dig, but honestly knowing that Mourinho was a horrible appointment to make for Man Utd at the time is a pretty low bar to clear. I'd say that 85% of non-Utd fans would have cleared it at the time.

Maybe Atletico if Simeone ever leaves, but that doesn't look likely anytime soon.
He's not managed a German club yet so it's probably tempting, but I just don't see it. Bayern would not want him and I'm not sure if the challenge of overcoming that monopoly is tempting to Mourinho. I could be wrong, though!
