Solis post and bang on the money without considering how long those coaches stayed at the club ? Jol lasted for 3 season , Redknapp lasted for 4 , Poch lasted for 5 season , i don't think there were any Chelsea coach who lasted more than 3 in the past 20 years. Jose Mourinho has the longest stint so far for Chelsea & so does Zidane with Real Madrid which might be his last season there.
You mean the urge to turn toxic when the team doesn't win and the players doesn't listen, yeah you need that urge if you are a winner ,not like certain norwegian serial loser smiling on tv whenever you guys lost.
Nobody cares about what Dele Alli is thinking or saying , he isn't influential enough in the dressing room to cause an uproar like your french virus, it's him who have to follow what Mourinho wants from him, not the other way around. We actually have a good club structure here , no players are allowed to have more power than the manager. He will get rid of Alli soon without any issue just like he got rid of Danny Rose and that's how a proper club should run , Pep and Klopp both can get rid whoever they didn't want without anyone questioning.I think Sir Alex wouldn't be as half as successful if he coached in this era , just look at the popularity of the players he has gotten rid of , i can imagine your board would turn their back on him, your fanbase would call him toxic and the media would hound him out for having beef with the likes Stam , Beckham , Nistelrooy and many more. It's why Mourinho keeps saying United has no structure since they put too much power on players especially those with high transfer fee/wage/popularity, it's business FC. Also why your club need a puppet who doesn't command respect nor having any credential as manager.
