Got to go surely? Wonder who Levy will line up?
If they don't get UCL football next season he will definitely weigh up his options. Who could blame him? He's had some great form under Poch but I fear under Jose that's going to goIts very rare that he comes out and says, that he got it wrong.
It feels like he was brought in for big money so that Spurs could save in other areas (eg transfers). But that will be a shock when Jose asks for 200m for the Summer (and how many top quality players will that bring in).
Maybe they will have to sell Kane for 150+m to help with this funding.
Speaking of broken records... I also find it beyond reason that there are United fans on a United forum not fawning over Poch. Outrageous I tells ya!Yep, there should be an apology thread in the Spurs forum for Pochettino. There are still some fans on here, that don’t think Pochettino did a fantastic work with this Spurs team. It is ridiculous.
3rd season syndrome is no more، it's now the 3rd month syndromehe's just doing everything quicker this time around. His Shaw moment came early with Ndombele last weekend, his Sevilla moment came today. Give it two more games and we're at "this isn't even 30 percent of my team". The man is finished, and has been for a while. Levy must have been on one hell of a binge when he signed off on that deal.
"All players on Leipzig bench would play in my Spurs team"
Brilliant. Massive vote of confidence in his squad. Didn't he say when he was appointed that he had a lot talent in his squad?
I'm not sure it was the majority. I remember the threads after Sevilla: they were flooded with people claiming he was right, that we are shite and that Sevilla players would get into the United team and he didn't mean the whole "football heritage" thing like that. The difference being that was the straw that broke the camels back for the majority of United fans.
None of them will happen. There's a reason he had to take a step down to Spurs and if this likely ends in failure then he's basically stuck at the level down for the foreseeable.Where would you like to see him manage next? I would love to see him at Liverpool, Man City or Real Madrid.
Liverpool isn't going to happen. City could possibly happen but again very, very unlikely, so Madrid it is please.
Who was the poster that called this?
So he went from throwing one player under the bus to the whole team.
What a complete joke of a man.
I bet he couldn't even name them
That's the cnut that he is. It is always someone else's fault. His players are always so, so shit.
These kind of messages are so detrimental, both short term and long term for the current squad, and long term for squad development, as football players need confidence in themselves and their teammates and new recruits at a reasonable level will not join a shit squad. This is a big part of why I wanted him gone from the second we hired him, and why every loss, although it hurts a bit, fills me with a bit of hope that we are one step closer to the end of his reign. The fecking selfloving, useless cnut.
What a terrible terrible thing to say about the team he is being paid handsomely to manage. How on Earth is that going to instill any kind of confidence in his players. If he genuinely said that how can any right minded Spurs follower continue to support the man?
If he was in charge of Leipzig he would be moaning about how our squad is so much better than theirs even with our injuries, probably bring up the price of each player, and definitely
Mention that someone on our bench cost more than most of their squad combined.
No one, he panicked and got Mourinho in because he 'wins trophies'.Got to go surely? Wonder who Levy will line up?
He can't motivate anyone as long as He can't be positive towards the things He works with. These days, everytime He gets positive it's always because of his past achievements (including the game He's just won), outside of those He gets very defensive. And everything He has at his current club will always be compared with what He had before. If They are worse, He will moan about it and throws people under the bus. He will even go as far as pulling out facts from 2005 just to validate his points, basically arguing all the time with anyone. But the main problem imo is not his reputation now, is that he doesn't seem able to organize a team anymore. He has 2 strikers missing ok, but the defense and mid look terrible and that's on him. Even in the season when we finished second let's not forget that we were conceding chances a lot and it was DDG in super human form that kept us competing. I don't know if he's incapable of motivating his players or his tactics have just been found out but something is very wrong with his coaching.
Peter Crouch said the same thing last night. Sure it's a bad situation with injuries to key attacking players but he makes a bad situation worse."All players on Leipzig bench would play in my Spurs team"

You can have a great technical team but if you’re calling the shots, you render them ineffectiveHard for me to get it: he has one of the most promising tactical training experts as his assistant in Sacramento, Giovanni Cerra is one of the top experts in IT technology applied to sports and Carlos Lallin is a world reference in high performance fitness training, and yet his team seems to focus a lot on man marking (which exposes your team to individual mistakes), the pressing is completely disjointed actually breaks the team as a block and the players seems to lack fitness in the last 10-15 minutes.
I know probably Spurs will give him a chance to reboot the team, but things are not looking good.
TBC it’s more than those two. Bergwijn and host of others. However Norwich started the season with 9 first teamers out. Farke just got on with it in his usual positive wayWho do they have that’s injured Kane and Son? Every team has and should expect injuries.
They sold Erickson and let Wanyama go on a free - it’s all their own making.
on another note I assume @GlastonSpur is self isolating at the moment as it’s all gone quiet. Although, I’m not sure you can catch covid-19 every time spurs lose
They will give give a summer to build his team and next season...however is next season he is not producing then he will get the boot and I doubt a top job would come after him after that.Hard for me to get it: he has one of the most promising tactical training experts as his assistant in Sacramento, Giovanni Cerra is one of the top experts in IT technology applied to sports and Carlos Lallin is a world reference in high performance fitness training, and yet his team seems to focus a lot on man marking (which exposes your team to individual mistakes), the pressing is completely disjointed actually breaks the team as a block and the players seems to lack fitness in the last 10-15 minutes.

Mourinho probably is probably still blaming Pogba (the virus!)Who do they have that’s injured Kane and Son? Every team has and should expect injuries.

I mean he did always say he wanted to coach Setúbal. His wish might come sooner then expected.
Probably his biggest problem nowadays. Nowadays players probably want a more professional leadership, not a bad cop/good cop leadership style (but lately he seems to be the bad cop/bad cop )You can have all the data and back up you want, if you piss off your players they aren't going to listen to you.
He's a sore loser, always has been, so saying some bitter shit is to be expected, he just loses more now, so it seems like he's just a dick.

And a few months in, the Grift begins.
He's looking to get fired already. He knows they're in for an embarrassing end to the season and he won't be getting big money in the summer. He is preparing his firing.
I was one of those who thought he would be a good choice to take over after Ferguson - a safe hand to help the club get past the inevitable initial shock. I wanted him in 2016, too: I convinced myself that we are not like Real Madrid or Chelsea. So I understand. Having said all that, I still cannot fathom how anyone didn't find that Sevilla rant utterly indefensible.Mourinho was a very welcome choice for many United fans. He was loathed by just as many, mind (probably more), but he was always likely to have a strong and vocal support on here. Goes back to Fergie's retirement and the candidates for taking over at the time (Mourinho was the majority's fave candidate - but hugely divisive, of course).
And things being what they are, a subset of those people (posters - on here) went into defensive mode when he, on his part, went full José. It was inevitable, really - as inevitable as his grand scale meltdown a few months later.
Exactly this. I don't think he even cares about football anymore. He's angling for another huge payoff just like he did here.
Levy needs his head examining.
