Bit of a bump but if they go down surely we are considering him?

He's got the confidence that you need to play keeper for United and he's generally very good. Mistake in him though but what else is new for us!
 
How does Pickford's ball distribution rate against DDG's? I like how bold and authoritative he is with his play. No tentativeness
 
Can't stand Pickford. He always raises his game against us. Too much of a liability to be a United GK in my view. Think he'll probably go to Spurs to replace Lloris.

He has a gaffe in him but not like DDG has been a saint in that regard.

Good shot stopper, confident off his line and with the ball and authoritative.

Was a passing thought on the off chance they go down more than anything but think we could do worse.
 
Sign him, he made 10 saves no other keeper could make.
 
Didnt think he made any magical saves. Everything was bread and butter saves for any top keeper. (Except maybe Anthony first 1v1 in first half)
 
Id take him over De Gea but there’s better options out there.
 
He's better than people make out. Him being annoying doesn't mean he isn't a good keeper. Pretty good with the ball and he reacts very well to danger. Yes they were straight forward saves but he helps the cause with the way he closes situations down, that's a big part of making saves.
 
He's a histrionic over the top gowlbag and I would hate to have the prick anywhere near this club
 
His distribution is poor and he doesn't deal with crosses any better than De Gea. What am I missing?
 
Better command of his box than DDG (today's first half aside). Dave is a better pure shot stopper imo. There are better options out there.
 
So every time a goalkeeper has a good game - he is the one to replace DDG (despite not being a better gk than DDG - ok got it).

He got a great passing foot — but he isn’t used to playing up from the back.
 
Could have been 6-0 if he wasn’t in goal today.

Reminds me of DDG.

Pickford put in a Tom Heatonesque performance against us over the weekend, although to be fair quite a few of the "shots on target" were shot directly at the keeper. Only or two saves would be anywhere near De Gea class.

There should be a category called something like "shots at keeper".

Pickford has literally just signed a new four year contract at Everton.

If he had any better offers lined up he wouldn't have signed it!

He's an average goalkeeper, Everton is about his level.

What has he done wrong there? I don't know much about goalkeeping, I thought the only thing he could do was to move to the short post and make himself big, which he did. He has no chance if the shot is powerful and accurate, and it was.
 
He's Joe Hart. Thinks hes miles better than he is and not good enough for a top club. He might have confidence for Everton but that would soon disappear when he starts fecking up under the Manchester United microscope.

Pickford was beaten on the near post, which from a keeper's point of view you really don't want to see happen very often. Give tons of credit to McTominay for the powerful shot from point blank range, but he didn't hit the top corner. The ball was at a comfortable height if Pickford had been better positioned.
