He looked a little lost at times at the San Siro as Rio was doing what he would like to do and had to change his game. Here's hoping that Smalling can be more the Vidic type as i've hopes of those two being our first choice partnership within 3/4 years.

If we sell Maguire then we need another backup. This makes more sense than signing a player like Kim who would demand to start immediately. I understand that teams like City are making such moves, but we have more pressing matters.
