Pretty confident Dave isn't leaving.
And even if he does, we will not be signing this fraud.

I would rather have Romero between the sticks if Dave leaves. Hart's been linked to United maybe it's just media speculation, no?

That's exactly what it is. It's just gutter press bottom of the barrel tabloid bullshit, but some people continue to lose their shit over it.

Hart is so bad its not surprising that city want to get rid and no club wants him. He makes so many big errors its shocking. Even at torino last season he made about 12 big howlers and their president came out and said he didnt expect hart to make so many. This guy is shocking and should be no way linked to a premier league team let alone man utd. Goal keeper version of rooney haha

I'd rather have Hart than Schmeichel, at least those rumours have gone quiet now!

Kasper Schmeichel's a decent keeper with brilliant distribution, he shouldn't be in the same category as Hart.

He is much better than Hart, he at least does the basics right and isnt in a steady decline. Hart is a joke and a total liability at this point in time, i would take Johnstone or young Pereira over him. Experience counts for nothing if you are a calamity and past it

Pity for Hart really, must be embarrassing to go from being so highly rated to becoming a bit of a joke figure really. Hart is an excellent example of what can happen when you buy into your own hype and start to believe you are something special. The best keepers just do their jobs without worrying about making themselves out to be something more. I think he started to try and live up to the inflated legend he had created for himself to be remembered as some sort of stuart pearce -heart on his sleeve- type leader. Trouble with that is you can't make mistakes like he has and expect to maintain credibility, too many people out there helping build these images up that are only too happy to tear them down at the first opportunity.

Keano pointed this out when few others had even thought it an issue, seems he was spot on.

I think signing Hart would put me of Mourinho considerably.

I'd honestly rather stick Fellani in goal.

It's typical England that stick with him though, when they have 3 potentially 4 keepers that are better.

We're linked to every single player on the planet (ok bit of an exaggeration) so obviously our name crops up. He wont be coming here, Periera will play before him.
Oh, and as for the poll as it stands, there must be 35 WUMs on here!

No. It was bad enough when we signed Michael Owen, but at least he came via Real and the Toon. Romero seems less error prone than modern day Hart, so this signing would make little sense.

Owen was a pretty good signing. hart is a bloody joke

I just hope the rumour about Joe Hart is tabloid nonsense. One of the poorest keepers in the PL. It would actually make me angry with the club and I would be embarrassed to go into work (even though most people there don't follow football)

I would have Romero be the main keeper rather than buy Hart.. Must be just tabloid nonsense..

I cringe every time I read that we may be in for Hart.

He is over priced, over rated and not good enough to even be mentioned with us.

We have De Gea, one of the worlds best. If he goes, surely we would give Romero a chance but failing that we'd be in for someone much better than Hart (The AC Milan youngster, or Navas or Oblak etc....)

He just needs to sign for a relegation threatened team which is his true level and we can all stop talking about this non-sense

Almost feel sorry for him, but then he, Pep, & City made their bed. City will need to eat a lot of money in order for him to play in the PL again. Unless you have a moneybags owner who is looking to make a marketing splash, I can't see him make a move without City basically subsidizing it. Almost makes sense to associate United for a move for him (with a bit of uncertainty over DDG & money available, while other top 6 clubs seem set except maybe Liverpool), but I'd think the hierarchy is a smart enough not to.

If you take away his name/reputation, all you're really left with is a keeper who hasn't played consistently well in around 3 years. We'd be crazy to be in for him.

and he should accept that he is far from the best English keeper around at the moment, who has become as accident-prone as one or two ex-United keepers: Taibi, Leighton and the French clown!

We've had conversations with his representatives according to Simon Stone of the BBC.

I imagine we talk to a lot of players before pushing on with any substantial interest. Not exactly a bad thing considering the De Gea situation threatened to drag on again this year (thankfully didn't).

But definitely no to Hart. He's crap.

Feck right off. Why is the idea of selling DDG still a thing?

Real Madrid can shove their money up their arse

If we were to lose De Gea I'd like to think that we'd set our sights on replacements of higher quality than Joe bloody Hart!

Conversations have also taken place between the 30-year-old's representatives and Manchester United.

While United boss Jose Mourinho is an admirer of Hart, who has 71 international caps, the clear preference at Old Trafford is to keep David de Gea, which they expect to do.
