That celebration pissed off a lot of young Arsenal fans yesterday because of what it means.
I'm not aware of that. What does it mean?
I'm just grumpy about anything that isn't a fist pump or a knee slide.

More insane expectations. What squad player is getting 8+8?
And 15+10 in the league? That is verging best play in the league territory, something which Mkhi isn't even close to.
Yes, 10+10 equals 20. Right below. It isn't a very good return for a squad player, its an unbelievable one which has probably rarely ever happened. Can you quote that post. Thanks. I said 10 goals and 10 assists.
So we are in November and he has 4 goals and 4 assists. I would love to see some consistency from him now and to push for near 10 goals and 10 assists by the end of the season. That would be a very good return from a squad player.
If he played like he did yesterday with more regularity then he wouldn't receive half the stick. It's quite simple.

She said in the league. So no 3 is not nearly 8. There is very little chance he will get 5 more goals and 5 more assists on squad player minutes for the rest of the season. Please name me some squad players who have got 8+8 in the league? Are you on drugs, seriously? He is already on nearly 8 goals so how in gods name is that unrealistic.
He also referred to him as an attacking midfielder as opposed to the wide role he’s often been tasked with and never really shone in.Fergie did say he would be a late developer so maybe he is right.
Well so exactly, if he won't be a squad player then how will it be a good return for a squad player?Yes so he has 6 goals and 4 assists already. So how in gods name is another 4 goals and 6 assists unrealistic considering there is more than half the season left and various competitions. He won't be a squad player if he keeps up this form, btw.

Once again show me these squad players who get 10+10 in all comps.
So, when Lukaku was hitting more than a goal a game, did you say he should be finishing with 40+ goals?Righteo. Considering we aren't even halfway through the season and he already has 6 goals and 4 assists, I think it's fair game to say he should be aiming for in and around 10 goals and 10 assists. No one said he has to so get your panties out of that knot, but it would be great if he could get in and around that mark. Yeah last seasons second top scorer is a great barometer to set.
It's not pedantic at all. You were asking for 10+10 from a squad player which is just unrealistic. Squad player and starter is a huge difference and not pedantic at all.Oh so pedantic. Well he will have played nearly half the season as a squad player even if he becomes a regular starter now. So stop getting so fixated on the whole squad player lark. His numbers have drastically improved this season and here's to hoping he can push on and do 10 plus 10, exciting times for the lad.

No. Because you can't just extrapolate like that, when there are so many variables.
You seem to be getting all giddy, on the strength of a couple of good performances by Jesse.
Remember he is still not a starting 11 player, yet.
I have been on here defending Jesse, long before he started winning people over, and as far as I remember, you were more positive towards him than most.
You just need to temper your enthusiasm now he is establishing himself.
It's a hip hop/gang dance for when you takeover opposition turf and they can't do anything about it.I'm not aware of that. What does it mean?
I'm just grumpy about anything that isn't a fist pump or a knee slide.
With squad player minutes yes it is extremely unlikely. If he becomes a starter then he has a chance but then he isn't a squad player is he? Logic also dictates that it will be harder to score as the season goes on and we get further in competitions as the opposition will be stronger. I'm not upset at all, I'm calling out absurd stats expectations which are constantly posted on here. No one is getting 10+10 on squad player minutes. So it's unrealistic to expect him to record similar numbers in the second half of the season? Logic. It would have been unrealistic at the start of the season for sure but it's hardly unrealistic now considering over half the season is left to play and he is halfway there. You seem upset about this for some reason and I have no idea. Chill man, I genuinely thought you had misread my original post and you thought I said 20 goals and 20 assists. No one said he has to by the way but it would be fantastic if he could.

So I'll ask you again show me a squad player who has got 10+10 before.
I’m pretty sure it’s not, lol, and even if it was I’m not sure that’s entirely what Lingard was doing it for. Taking Arsenal’s turf? Grow up.It's a hip hop/gang dance for when you takeover opposition turf and they can't do anything about it.
Man like Jessi, Milly Rockin' at the Emirates
Really? It's a celebration, the kid likes dancing so let him do what he wants. He liked that dance move so why not.I’m pretty sure it’s not, lol, and even if it was I’m not sure that’s entirely what Lingard was doing it for. Taking Arsenal’s turf? Grow up.
It’s all daft anyway. Just copying American hip-hop culture or celebrations made up by American athletes. Come up with your own at least if you’re gonna look a tit after scoring a couple.
Well yeah that’s fair enough, but it is a bit daft. It doesn’t bother me that much, but the whole trap culture just blags meReally? It's a celebration, the kid likes dancing so let him do what he wants. He liked that dance move so why not.

I don’t, but I have Twitter.Don't watch NFL then.
I don’t, but I have Twitter.
That’s my point though, they’re just copying the NFL and/or NBA.
I didn't know this. Makes the celebration even better! It's a hip hop/gang dance for when you takeover opposition turf and they can't do anything about it.
Haha, not sure whether you're telling me or Lingard to grow up, but when he tweets 'At The Emirates I Milly Rock' I believe it's in reference to the lyric 'I Milly Rock on any block' from the the song that made this dance famous.I’m pretty sure it’s not, lol, and even if it was I’m not sure that’s entirely what Lingard was doing it for. Taking Arsenal’s turf? Grow up.

Me thinking it’s daft because it’s not what I’m in to doesn’t mean that I’m bothered by Lingard doing it. I think it’s daft when I see people doing stuff like that on Twitter etc.‘It doesn’t bother me, but it is a bit daft’ so it does bother you then?
He’s not hurting anyone.
For someone like me who loves that culture, I love that he’s being so visible in representing it on such a huge stage.
I really don’t understand why so many people take issue with how him, Pogba and anyone else choose to celebrate.

And I think that trap culture has been represented on a much bigger stage than even the Premier League. It’s at the forefront of music right now. Pure shite in comparison to proper hip hop in my opinion.
Shit at celebrating. Good at football.
Very capable finisher, just erratic at it. A bit of consistency in front of goal and he can claim the #10 role for now. He's definitely doing better than Mkhi and Mata so far.
He ran about and local ladded all over the place. Hope he keeps this level local ladding going in to the Derby and locals all over them.
He is practically never injured. We are not sticking with him in starting squad for the long term. Soon his form will drop down or he'll find some injuries (not my wish for his bad fortune, it's just his natural habit). This is exactly what's happened for years to be fed up with
Oh feck off
The celebration was better than the goal itself and fecking pissed off arsenal fans. It was brilliant. What's a great celebration for you? Fist pump and a "woohoo"

Yeh I give you those. I think Drogba has the best ones, especially the one with the saluteKnee slides or nothing.
