I think in 2-3 years time people will be calling him one of the best finishers/poachers in the world.

Awesome. We buy no end of these young potentials or slightly older ones like him who are more unknown but many don't come good or certainly not that quick. He seems to love scoring. Got to start playing this lad more and more IMO.

He's a good poacher, but his finishing isn't exactly outstanding.

Great to have people on the caf to rely on. Especially those who know more than Ferguson, Solskjær and Scholes. And people with eyes in general...

He's shown a couple fantastic finishes with his head. He's inventive and composed...I'm sure he will prove to be an excellent finisher before long.

Yet.

Its his movement and instincts that get him the oppertunities, so imagine how he'll be after a few years training at United and a lot more experience in the premier league.

I'm glad he's back scoring again and has ended that little drought. We're not at our prolific attacking best but this silent assassion always makes himself a threat in the box. We just need to improve the supply to him.

You can call Berbs with a 9 match run a small drought...

Three - Four games without a goal is nothing.

I hope he does end up being one of the best finishers in the world - I just don't think his finishing ability at the moment is anywhere near Ruud's or Solskjaer's. I'm not knocking him, because he's an excellent prospect and I like him as a player. I just reckon he has other qualities that are far more noteworthy e.g. his pace and movement.

Joint top scorer at the moment, on 7 with Berbatov.

Think he'll warm the bench now TBH, although I hope he doesn't. With Rooney back, I reckon it'll be him and Berba up front in most matches. I do want Berba to start and get in the goals again, but if it doesn't happen then I'd like to see Rooney and Chicharito up front together.

And we'll make a tidy profit when the Glazers flog him to Real.

If this joke was ever funny it is certainly a long time since.

I'd like to see him and Rooney playing together, I think with the pace they both have, the link up play we know they are both capable of and the runs off the ball they could be devastating together.

Berbatov - all competitions
13 starts
2 subs
7 goals
2 assists
1 winner and 2 first goals

Hernandez - all competions
8 starts
8 subs
7 goals
0 assists
3 winners and 2 first goals

The boy has done good all things considering.

Can you buy into his 0 in assists? He isn't the best of passers but then again, we bought him for the goals. Incredible knack of being in the right place at the right time, his finishing will only get better and better too, frightening.

Thought I could remember 1 assist from a cross at the beginning of the season. Might be imagining things though, or perhaps it was pre-season. From the right

You do realise we started selling our best players to Real Madrid long before the takeover?

When it comes to united players looking for a move there's not many clubs that can afford them. Madrid is one of a very short list that can. That won't change anytime soon.

Also worth mentioning that Ronaldo's departure (just like Ruud's) was clearly engineered by the player himself. feck all to do with the owners.
