He was never it, poor workhorse in a team with Ronaldo & co. Exposed as rubbish at QPR.

He was pretty great at PSV for two seasons too, mainly in the one where they narrowly missed out on a CL final by losing on away goals to AC Milan (a tie in which he scored as well).

Nope, you're all wrong. He didn't do it when he was at QPR so he's crap.

Sol Campbell was useless at Newcastle so he was always rubbish as well.
Vieira didn't set the world alight when he went to City so obviously he was crap his whole career.
Robert Pires was shite at Villa, therefore he was shite his whole career.

Simple fact, Ji Sung Park was animportant player in a very successful team.

Unimportant player, probably the worst individual in a PL winning team in 20 years.

Well name a crapper one?

The list is too long for me to even bother.

Crap players simply don't win 4 PLs, 3 LCs, 1 CL, reach a further 2 CL finals, win the CWC, reach the WC semi-finals, get named in the CL best XI, and get nominated for the Ballon D'Or. Then you've also got the two leagues and the cup he won with PSV.

I get you're bitter about the guy winning more PLs in 5 years than your club has managed since the creation of the thing, and that he's lost more CL finals than your club has even appeared in (as well as winning one to your none), and that those 5 goals he put past your club (including one in that great 8-2), must sting a bit, but if there's one criticism that you can aim at Park, being crap isn't one of them.

Hehe. Nice.

Aliadiere obviously brought back some bad memories for poor Pete.

Yeah, he was one of the big 3 of his generation at Clairefontaine with Thierry and Nicolas. Career ruined by injuries. BTW we are talking about shit players who figured regularly for PL winning sides... step forward Jissum.

Career ruined because he was never that good.

Its quite hard to rack the the brain to the last time Arsenal won the PL but a squad player who got a fair few number of games in your invincibles season, I give you Pascal Cygan.

He didn't get 30+ games like Park and he wasn't as shit that season either.

United must have been bloody good back then to win 4 league titles, a CL, reach a further 2 CL finals, and routinely make your lot look like a bunch of amateurs, all whilst carrying someone as shite as Park for 30+ games a season.

It's an enduring mystery - Park being shite is an open book.

Luzhny, Stepanovs, Lauren, Jeffers and Stuart Taylor

A handful of shit that I can throw at your claim

This has to be a wind up, right? The worst individual player to win a PL yet he used to perform well and score a lot in the big games. Makes sense.

Blatant trolling from Mr Storey here re Park. I'll put it down to high match day anxiety levels - completely understandable considering their record against us.

Please stop reacting to Petes very blatant wummery and leave the Park stuff out of this thread.

Surprised with all the Park bashing consider Arsenal signed our effective Park replacement in the summer.

Milner is a good footballer. To say anything else is bizarre. He and Barry get a ton of stick and both are decent footballers.

They are never going to be class acts...but they are good Premiership quality players.

You are an odd one, PS. Of all the players to pick for this wum, you go for one who regularly humiliated the team you support. You must really not rate Arsenal.
Nah, they were so good they couldn't comprehend, must less defend against, someone so shit. Instead of saying things like "Time" and "Man on" they'd just tearfully scream stuff like "What the feck is THAT?" at each other.

Manchester City’s James Milner considers move abroad

• Milan, Inter and Roma, plus two Spanish clubs interested
• Milner unhappy at lack of starts and playing on the wing
• Liverpool’s Glen Johnson talks to overseas clubs about move

James Milner is considering leaving Manchester City in the summer to play abroad, with the midfielder holding initial talks with Milan, Roma and Internazionale, plus two clubs in Spain.

Milner’s contract expires in the close season and at 29 he knows this is his last chance of a major move. He earns around £90,000 a-week on the five-year contract he agreed when moving to City in 2010 from Aston Villa but there would be a sizeable signing-on fee should Milner decide to depart.

Although the midfielder has won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup at City, he would like to start more regularly under Manuel Pellegrini.

Now in his fifth season at the club, Milner has made 139 appearances in the Premier League of which 84 have been starts. This season he has been started 13 times, less than half of the 28 matches, and has featured 34 times in all competitions.
