Bond is supposed to be white, You wouldn't see Samuel L Jackson playing Bilbo Motherfecking Baggins or Martin Freeman playing Shaft

Samuel L Jackson couldn't be Bilbo Baggins because LOTR has an unwritten rule that everyone must be white, and the more powerful/better a person you are, the whiter you get.

Sol Campbell is probably grieved that he was never offered to be the next James Bond. He was Spurs captain after all.

Roger Moore is about 110 in A View to a Kill. It's comical watching him shuffle about.

Goldeneye  One of my favorites! Oh yes, and Scorupco really enhances the movie too..

This may be terrible, but it has the greatest line in any Bond. Possibly any film period.

"I think he's attempting re-entry sir"

I prefer:

"You missed, Mr Bond."

*would be assassin falls out of tree*

- "Did I?"

RM's wig in A View To a Kill is magnificent. I also love Fiona Fullerton so it gets bonus points for her being in it.

I think we should get back to discussing what a truly terrible spy he is. He's absolutely awful at it. He's barely a spy at all, he's a brazen assassin.

well the 00 indicator is for his license to kill, so yeah of course he is, that hte whole point. He is not really a spy sent to gather intelligence and report back. His job is to go in and destroy the bad guys operations and kill as many of the baddies as he can.

I was going to post the same, 007 was never a spy he was always just an assassin.
Even when he went under cover, the bad guys always knew who he was, he was too well known with too much of a reputation to be a real spy.

In all fairness, Berbatov will make a better Bond. A british secret service agaent called Dimitar, what can go wrong?

Though in reality, I'd have loved to see Harrison Ford do a stint as bond.

Ahh the white man is always ahead of poor old Sol.

Whoever coined the name Pussy Galore then convinced movie producers to use the name is a genius

Incredible achievement. It's more ridiculous than Austin Power's Alotta Fagina. And Odd Job - Random Task!

Moonraker's up there as one of my least favourite Bond films, along with Die Another Day and Q.of.Solace

Favourites...

From Russia with Love
Goldfinger
You only Live Twice
Live & let Die
Goldeneye and
Casino Royale

....Everyone knows who is is. Everyone. He's terrible.

Incidentally, The Man With The Golden Gun is on iTV now. Quality Street. Roger Moore's Eyebrows > Brando.

Bond always wins and also gets laid with the prettiest girls.

If you think that's terrible, then we share different agendas.

He'd never be allowed back after Skyfall anyway, since he kidnapped his boss and took her to a remote, isolated location where he got her killed for attempting to fight a private army all on his own with two elderly people and no back up. All of which they'd have to take his word for once he returned to London with his dead boss's body whilst still suspended as unfit for service. He really proved them wrong there!

feck getting his job back, he'd be court martialled at the very least, after a long internal investigation.

That's if they got their act together. But since it's the same organisation that devised a plan to send an agent off to play cards against a villain they already had bang to rights, who'd already lost all his clients money, meaning they had little or nothing to gain, and could've actually ended up funding international terrorism if they'd lost a game they never once attempted to rig despite having 2 spys at the table, I don't have the utmost confidence.

You know nothing.

That sequence from Casino Royale were he chases around a black dude in Madagascar is ridiculus. He wouldn't get away with that shit in Sub Saharan Africa. He would have ended up in the hands of either corrupt military/police or worse a lynch mob.

For Your Eyes Only must be the worst Roger Moore Bond film.

Nah, I prefer A View to a Kill, has a better villain in it, in Christopher Walken. Grace Jones is good in it too.
