Jamal Musiala

Some strike that was, wonderful player. He's very Kaka like but not quite as explosive.

He is one of the best dribblers I've ever seen at that age, there are players better at other aspects of the game, but they way he just weaves through the opposition is incredible.

He’s who these guy think Bellingham is. Genuine world class 10 in any era.

He’s amazing! Haven’t seen him have a bad game even when Bayern don’t look good. Just an electric player.

every minute magic. Rarely do you see European players with such technique and ease, I can see the comparisons to Kaka. I know it’s Scotland, but he even looks Dinhoesque at times

Musiala seems clear of him tbh. He is ridiculously good

Yeah. I've watched Wirtz a few times, and I've never been wowed by him. Maybe I haven't watched him enough, but even tonigh, despite his goal, I don't think he's done that much.

As I write this, he's been taken off, but I guess at 3-0, they can give other plays a go.

Kaka was a master at launching one man counter attacks covering the entire length of the field in a few seconds. He was ridiculously fast and strong.

Musiala's best quality is his close control and dribbling through tight spaces. He's not an effortless, elegant player like Kaka was. Kaka was more of a long distance dribbler when he had space to run into. Musiala is more of tight space dribbler based on close control, balance and ball manipulation.

Another thing about Kaka is that he was a very well rounded player. He had a great shooting range on either foot and was one of the best passers/final ball players in the game. He had it all in his locker.

Honestly, I really don't get this comparison at all. The closest player to Kaka in the modern game in terms of playing style would be Zaniolo but he lost his pace after the series of major injuries.

Musiala is the kind of number 10 you can play a double pivot behind successfully. While Bruno creates more chances on paper, a player like Musiala will bring much more balance to the midfield and creates chances by opening space which doesn't really show on the statistics.

We should do everything we can to get him if possible to replace Bruno next summer. I dont think we will ever get him though, too valuable for Bayern. Hopefully this will also put the Bayern being interested in Bruno rumours to bed. Musiala is a much better footballer and they have no need for our 10.

The way he moves is so special.
He almost glides through his opponents at times.

Look at his game against Darmstadt this season: https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/s/ylkEdSTyLp

After Ribery and Robben left us I feared it will take a long time until I see auch a special player at Bayern again. But Musiala on his day is just incredible.
He "only" needs to get more consistent.

The hype that sideways passer aka Jude Bellingham gets is what Musiala should be getting. The English press keep getting carried away by average players.

You think someone who moved to Real Madrid aged 20 and scored like 23 goals from midfield is average?

I disagree, not because I don't think he's better than Bellingham but I think they are very different players.

I think it's a better comparison with Foden (I also think Musiala is better than him too). In terms of versatility and skillset, I think those two are much more similar than Bellingham.
