Ready to give up? What does that even mean haha
It’s like getting ready to have a shit. As if it requires preparation.

It’s funny when we hear reports that Utd are “preparing” a bid. Like you have to go fetch some cash out of the shed and slap it on the table.

To be fair, giving up on a set price and getting involved in a bidding war sounds like something Ed would relish
We just dont have enough cash this year. We may have more cash next year, so even if we end up paying more, it's because we could, whereas right now we can't.

I would argue that checking there’s toilet paper is part of the preparation. Fail to prepare then prepare to fail.

I believe the cousin's post is what we in the states call, “clout chasing”. Doing it for the likes and recognition without really being itk. At the same time, the cynic in me see’s this as a nicely timed and intelligent promotion of his new Nike line. The post would obviously blow up on Twitter due to the context, as a result getting more eyes on his new Nike line, due to him wearing it in the pic. Who knows. I really really really hope this happens, but every day I lose more and more hope

The Mirror? This is the closest I’ve come to thinking it might happen.

My hopes have increased after Mirror posted it's not happening. Here we go incoming soon!
Regarding the cousin brother, he is a distant relative. Don't believe for a second that Sancho would first reveal this to a distant cousin who will post this on Instagram. Also Sancho doesn't even follow this clown.

I don’t believe we don’t have the cash though. We were heavily linked with both Grealish (£50m) and Sancho(£80m). Even if we got both of them at the price WE would want to pay, we would still be paying £130m.

We do have the money but we need to decide whether we want any other players coming in as well.

Someone commented on the instagram post that Sancho doesn't follow his cousin. Doubt they are close enough for him to know anything. Probably just looking for a moment in the spotlight.
That said, happy Sancho day!

They should know, since they are family. That said, it could be a bit of wanting some followers of course. Well, happy Sancho day

Happy Sancho day!... not tomorrow though. Mondays the day I can feel it

I don’t follow any of my cousins, they would still hear if I signed for united through father/uncle though.

Yeah but apparently Sancho doesn’t follow his best mate either. So we ain’t ruling this out!

@7even
They will use loans to cover their Covid losses. What's the point of staying debt free when it means that you have to dismantle your squad for discount prices? It's like a baker selling his oven so he can pay the flour. And since we don't even know how much United are actually offering it's impossible to tell how much of a gamble Dortmund are taking, when they keep him for another year.

I think I've already said this before, but why is it so impossible to believe that another club might take debt at all, when you're supporting a club that has secured another €150m in loans on top of €450m net debt?
The interest is the problem here to be fair. Your sentence is all about being a supporter, but again, if you run the club, you sometimes have to dismantle your squad, whatever the prices. Just like some people can't pay the mortgage back and are forced to go into foreclosure.

No clubs is immune to this COVID situation, United had 90m GBP cash reserve and took a credit line of 150m GBP. The scale of the numbers are different and even United struggles. And that's exactly our msg to BVB: no one can pay you more than 60m EUR upfront, so take that. So far, they seem to refuse.

I don't blame them, I am currently a seller in a real estate transaction myself, and I am about to reject an offer. But I have to pay the interests and I am not sure I'll be able to reduce the principal to be in a safer position. I simply don't know, and I can't know. If I want to be safe, I would sell despite the lower offer.

Is the mirror reporter considered reliable or are we still getting excited about Sancho’s potential cousin?

Sancho wants to come to United ? That's great but Dortmund need to get the fee they want from us and that doesn't seem like its coming anytime soon.

I don't get the post about the cousin. It's just Sancho with a Nike jersey, no?

His cousin is more reliable than that reporter, and I doubt his cousin isn’t reliable in the slightest.
