The fact we haven't heard any sort of rumour from the press so far is a very encouraging sign
There have been plenty.

Imagine it's taken us since Nani was in form in 2009 to get a good right winger
Yeah, both had one really good season each but that was about it.Nani’s best season was 2010/11 wasn’t it? Also Valencia was a very good right winger in 2011/12 but yeah, it’s been a while.
i'm not yet convinced Sancho has a higher ceiling than Sane. Sane is class, and more proven.
I found a thread on Reddit which discusses a Mirror article linking us to Jadon Sancho. With some investigating, the user has found that the reporter seems to have legitimate connections to Sancho and his entourage, meaning that although it's Mirror, it might actually be more reliable than we think. I thought it was interesting enough to share.

Pep has already said Sancho wouldn't come back to City whilst he is there.
Mbappe currently plays RW with Cavani at 9. Really wouldn't be surprised to see Cavani move on and Mbappe going to 9 therefore freeing up a spot on the right.I call bullshit on that one, he wouldn't start at PSG and you don't pay 150M for a benchwarmer.
A bit of a telling off by his coach.

“I don’t know, in football you never say no, but I don’t know. I think when he decided to move on from here it is because he doesn’t want to be here.
When he doesn’t want to be here I think he’s not looking forward to coming back here. That is what I think right now. Maybe in the future – new club, new managers – but I don’t know."
What he actually said, wouldn't say it's necessarily ruling it out. Say Sane decides he wants to leave, which wouldn't surprise me given they've been trying to extend his contract for a while, it wouldn't be a unlikely scenario to see Sancho back at City, especially as the club have a first option clause allowing them to match any bids.
There's already been reports that he doesn't hold any particular grudge against City. If anything City are more likely to be a bit miffed by him considering he kicked up a stink by not reporting to training in order to force a move.
Pep is too smart to totally rule out a Sancho return but would want it to be on his terms. His ego would not stand for the entourage of a relative kid to have dictated to him a career path and for it to have cost City a lot of money.I don't think he holds a grudge against City, but I also don't think he believes Pep believed in his talent enough. I doubt he would go back with Pep in charge myself

They are just regurgitating the Mirror's story.
Yes but it’s from James Ducker so possibly more credibility. They are just regurgitating the Mirror's story.

It literally ticks every box.So that’s Custis, Ducker and that other journo whose name I can’t remember but apparently has good links on this now.
It makes too much sense for us to not be in for him though, given his profile and nationality. This is in every way a typical star-United signing. In the last 20 years we’ve made Ronaldo, Rooney, Anderson (depending on what quote you believe) and Martial the most expensive teenagers in world football. We’ve also made De Gea and Shaw the most expensive teenagers in their positions.
We would be totally in our element with a £100m+ move for Sancho. I think on the whole, these players turn out best for us than some of the older Big Money players we buy. PSG obviously have unlimited funds, but we couldn’t expect to sign a talent like this without another big (rich) club in the mix.
we've got a decent record in tugs-of-wars recently
It literally ticks every box.
Position
Age
Nationality
Future star
Commercial dream
Friends with current squad
adding him and koulibaly/de Ligt this summer would be Massive. few other squad additions and we will be set for the title next year.
You mean Fred and Sanchez?
Think it would make lot of sense from financial stand point as well. Toby for 25m, Meunier for 35-40, Rabiot for free and Pellegrini for 25m means, we still got money for a big signing.
Should be available for 75- 80m range.
Don't PSG have FFP issues to deal with too? Can't see us losing in a bidding war to them, if I'm honest. Don't see Sancho wanting to go there either.we've got a decent record in tugs-of-wars recently
Sancho, De Ligt/Koulibaly and Rabiot would be a sensational summer’s work. If we offload some forwards I’d also like to see Joshua King brought back.
What’s this Rabiot business? Have we been linked, or are you just fitting him into the transfer budget because he’ll be free?Think it would make lot of sense from financial stand point as well.
