65 million upfront with achievable add-ons upto 90 million.
Dont think BVB will accept that.
Dont think BVB will accept that.
Not every tweet comes from the club but when you have the likes of Ducker, Cooper etc dropping a piece which is in sync with each other then it's likely from the club.Maybe they arent brief.
Going out with a statement like " negotiation are ongoing, united hasnt met dortmunf valuation and still trying" doesnt need you to be briefed.
It's basically a general blanket statement of i dont know much, nothing is official as we speak.

It’s a shocking offer. We’re clueless if that’s true.65 million upfront with achievable add-ons upto 90 million.
Dont think BVB will accept that.
You just have to see the name behind the piece in question to know it's bollox.I don't believe the Daily Mail number at all, not even a little bit.
It’s a shocking offer. We’re clueless if that’s true.
Accept it? They'll probably reply with a dick pic.65 million upfront with achievable add-ons upto 90 million.
Dont think BVB will accept that.
surely 65m rising to 90m is a joke eh ? no resolve will be tested with that offer, they have told us the fee they want, they generally get there fee for big players, best thing I can see them accepting is instalments, don't see us getting him any cheaper, that bid will prob make them more annoyed and want it in one payment.
Space for one more on the Sancho bus?
Could do with some cheering up.
Fair enough, all are examples of what I alluded in the first place but were escaping my memory.Mbappe - Aug 31
Dembele - Aug 25
Bale - Sept 1
Harry Maguire - Aug 5
Lukaku - Aug 8 (League deadline)
Kepa - Aug 8 (deadline day)
Adjusted for inflation in transfer fees, Rooney would've been around £120mill. In terms of % of revenue, higher than what Sancho is today. It was a mega deal.
You are both right when inflation is factored, and it should be.Didn’t that make Rooney the most expensive teenager of all time? It was a mega deal at the time for me.
Not that this particularly matters but it’s a train isn’t it?Space for one more on the Sancho bus?
Could do with some cheering up.
I'm sure the Old Trafford canteen will at least still be operating at limited capacity.
If it were down to me I would be tempted to structure it so we buy him, loan him back to Dortmund until January but prevent him from playing Champions League so he isn't cup tied when he comes across (assuming we qualify from the Group stage). Structure payments 50% upfront, 20% in January, 15% in July and 15% variable. Benefits:
1. Allows us to block competition for him at a later date
2. Allows Dortmund time to identify and secure a replacement
3. By Christmas they will already know if they need him to challenge for 1st in the league or are resigned to "only" qualifying for the Champions League
4. Enables us to structure cash flows to facilitate the purchase.
5. Helps Dortmund with any immediately pressing financial issues with the upfront.
6. Frees up wages until January to allow more time to find buyers or Rojo, Smalling etc.
It is of course more likely that we will instead offer €95m with €25m of add ons and be told to go away!
Not happening.
No way we are getting him with those numbers, it looks like we are just trying to put in a bid for show. The fans will not be happy and we are going to go into the season with even more negativity around us than there is already. Good luck Ole..
You actually believe the numbers being thrown in the press????????No way we are getting him with those numbers, it looks like we are just trying to put in a bid for show. The fans will not be happy and we are going to go into the season with even more negativity around us than there is already. Good luck Ole..
It’s €72m rising to €100m.
That’s a great offer. Dortmund should accept.
Not that this particularly matters but it’s a train isn’t it?
Why? What would you lose by trying a low ball offer?I would rather no bid and a statement saying it is not feasible in the current climate than chuck a low ball one in that gets rejected out of hand.
You actually believe the numbers being thrown in the press????????
The first bid two months ago through the intermediaries? Think it was 90M including add ons? If that was rejected, i don't even think BVB would entertain this latest offer. That's why i reckon it's bull. No one knows the real offer at present now except United and perhaps the agents
