Too good for United unfortunately
Too good and too expensive. Zero chance of him coming to us lets be honest.

Hes gonna be Sanes replacement isnt he? Him and Sterling linking up with City next season. Great...
If i had to bet, I'd say City. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they always intended on bringing him back eventually, though i doubt they would have expected his value to rocket so much.
I'd go as far as saying that it's almost imperative that we sign him though. He has eveything that we need and i see no other options that bring the same attributes to the table.
Whole tonne of drama queens around these parts at the moment. So dramatic and defeatist - zero chance? Get a grip. How many teams can actually outspend us, not many?
I’m not saying we will definitely buy him, but the chances are far higher than zero, and if you went down the bookies I expect you would find we would be odds on favourites to sign him.
We need to win Europa or be less shit than arsenal and Chelsea
Or maybe realistic and caught up to present time? We struggle to sign top players at the moment, Maguire was rather the exception yet with players playing abroad, it will be difficult. Especially if we compete against other top teamsWhole tonne of drama queens around these parts at the moment.
Aston Villa spend more than us. Our spending days are over.So dramatic and defeatist - zero chance? Get a grip. How many teams can actually outspend us, not many?

Don't do it. Don't give me hope...It's pretty clear from what Zorc has said that we're definitely in for him and have done the ground work on the deal for it to become a reality next season. Zorc also confirming he contacted United to inform them that Sancho wouldn't be moving in the 2019/20 season is another indication that United are the front runners as far as a potential transfer is concerned.
I think it's pretty clear we've got the go ahead from Sancho and his camp regards him moving to us. It's also quite telling that Sancho himself is giving hints regards a move to United via his Instagram which I feel should be noted.
I believe we will pay over the odds to sign him and can't see anyone else matching our bid personally. The player also seems to want to join us and I don't think we would've taken the step to discuss matters with Dortmund directly if that wasn't the case, as confirmed by Michael Zorc.
I believe we've put in significant ground work into this deal and we'll sign the player next summer.

I don't think it's realistic to expect more then 2 first 11 players to be bought in one summer. Unless we can discover a cheap gem like Daniel James. It's going to take at least another 2 summers to have a first 11 comparable to City. You're making it sound like too easy, besides Sancho and a midfielder is still nowhere near enough.
I think we can spend 150 mil net, we've come close to it in the recent past. Plus sales, we can buy Sancho and a top midfielder. I don't expect more then that though. That’s not how it works though. And also it probably doesn’t work as per plan.
Higher chance he'll go to United than City for the quoted price.
Mate, we've never been able to attract top tier talent from abroad, they want to play for Madrid and Barcelona. Under Fergie, Veron was as exotic as it got and he wasn't a mitigated success. Our foundations have always been in buying the best of British and augmenting that with talent from the lesser leagues in Europe. Bayern do the exact same but with German players, Juventus used to do this with Italian players. It's a tried and tested method that's worked for us, this signing big European names is new for us in the last couple of years.Or maybe realistic and caught up to present time? We struggle to sign top players at the moment, Maguire was rather the exception yet with players playing abroad, it will be difficult. Especially if we compete against other top teams
When one is as good as Sancho and as young as he is, it's worth it. Our team looks a hell of a lot better if he was our right winger. We're pretty much achieving 6th without a RW and 2 midfielders. I don't think we need another 5-6 players. Sure if you want even more depth, but quality is what we're lacking the most.Which team can afford to spend the majority of their budget on one player? We need another 5 or 6 players and i can't see us spending so big on one player with that in mind. Maybe if we sell Pogba and sign a cheaper midfielder.
I think CHO is a better bet with his current contract situation. We could get him for anywhere from one 5th to a 3rd of what Sancho would cost in January. I can see a lot of teams being interested to sing Sancho. It would depend on they players they sell.
For example...
PSG: Neymar/Mbappe replacement
Madrid: Bale replacement
Bayern: Robben/Ribery replacement
City: Sane replacement
Liverpool: Mane/Salah replacement
Also, Sancho could be more interested to play with Guardiola, Kloop, Tuchel, etc instead of Ole.

For me it's the first club that pays the price tag for him, will get him. It'll be in the region of £150 million no doubt, very few clubs can afford that, going off our recent spending I'm not filled with confidence that we'll be one of them but who knows. He'd be the perfect signing for us so we should do all we can to get him.
Dembele cost Barca 135 million. It's not just two goals vs Kosovo either. He's going to cost that much unfortunately.Jadon Sancho is not worth £150m. This is getting beyond a joke. He's a good young player. But could we just ease off with the superlatives. He scored two against KOSOVO ffs. You think Jadon Sancho is ten times better than Daniel James? Let's try and keep a sense of perspective here.
I mean, look at Marcus Rashford. Martial. Depay... and I could go on and on. All extremely 'talented young players...'. And now look at them. Broadly, all are rather average now.

Especially
He may be a Chelsea fan but in reality that means jack all when you get into professional football unless you come through the academy. For example Rudiger is an Arsenal fan playing for Chelsea, Pepe vice versa. He left City for first team and while he could go back if City stump up the cash I think he is happy to keep in Europe assuming Madrid/Barca come for him. If true he is a Chelsea fan, they will rebuild next year and will have cash to burn

That said i do think we have a chance of attracting Jadon if we are still on Lampard and project youth this time next year but should we win the battle it won't be because he was/is a Chelsea fan, it would likely be a similar case to the Hazard transfer and we pitch our project better than United do (and offer more game time guarantee's than City).
one of the most sought after English players right now, where city are going to try and get him. For man Utd He's going to cost 120m+ easily.Dembele was in the context of £200m for Neymar though. Pulisic went for what £56m-ish? Somewhere around £70m with £30m add-ons probably gets it done.

Bringing through the cream of our academy first and foremost, we can't afford to let these players slip through the net. What is the Lampard project?
Also the names you mentioned are all international players who support a team. Jadon Sancho is a London boy who is very good friends with CHO and Tammy, which will be a major factor.

Nah, he's the sort of talent you'd be kicking yourself if you missed out on. We can improve the midfield with many players. Talents like Sancho, IMO are much harder to come by.He is not even our most pressing concern. We need to sort the midfield first. Spending 100+ million on him is not going to help us. We might have to made do with a lesser right winger.

As the father of 2 young boys I can tell you that toys bought in the Smyths €10 or less section will be new and shiny and played with for a few hours before being put on the shelf. We could sign 5-6 more players and people would still be clamoring that "we need 5-6 more players to compete". No amount of toys is enough for some folks.
I think Madrid are set on signing Mbappe with Bayern set on signing Sane, and unfortunately don't think either Mane or Salah will be leaving Liverpool, so I'd remove Madrid, Bayern and Liverpool and add Chelsea.I can see a lot of teams being interested to sing Sancho.
