The annoying thing is he clearly wasn't match fit/sharp with no pre season, so they give him 4-5 games to build his fitness and confidence.

Just as he started to look like he's kicking on, they drop him and never see him again, even as a sub appearence.

Now all that build up is gone? at least with Grealish City persisted with him until he found his feet.
Pep isn’t desperately clinging to his job.

Sancho wouldn't play as he is a creator and very technical footballer.

Ole has a system where creators and technical footballers cannot play, as this requires a proper system and coaching.

It is obvious when you look at it, why would you have players that rely on systems when you can play players that can provide individual brilliance?

Have 7 runners and 3 who can create special moments. This is why Greenwood, Bruno, Rashford, Ronaldo get so much game time, they have that ability to score a special goal.

Sancho is more of a team player, he isnt one who will always look to score a worldie.

We have seen this with Rashford, Bruno, Ronaldo, Greenwood where they consistently have poor all round games but can produce a moment of magic.

Another dumb post. We could say Sancho has had more minutes than Wayne Rooney this season. Has zero relevance or sense.

Wayne Rooney? What the actual feck?

Greenwood, Martial, Rashford and Lingard are in competition for the attacking wing spots in the team. Of course it makes sense.

When they play, Sancho doesn't. It's not that hard to understand.

I don't get why people are so upset with Jadon.
He just arrived, it will take some time to settle for him.

I'm not concerned at all, he will shine at Old Trafford.

I don't think many are upset with him. Some of us are just saying he's not as good as we thought, but that doesn't automatically mean he's crap and useless.

The caf will more than happily steamroll the manager, but generally gets quite defensive over players. Don't know why.

Wrong career choice. He'd be amazing in a team in which he fits in. Sadly, this is one of the most foreseeable struggles at a new club I've seen.

I was (still am) expecting a big flop from his side due to the facts that he's english, young, expensivE, megahyped & Wanted by Everyone on here & Other places. An Old pf
The saying ”When your Barber gives you stock exchang, you know it’s time to pull out”

Combine that with Oles tactics & it just oozed flop.

Inflated stats due to playing in the Bundesliga are worth shit since the teams outside top 4 have the financial power closer to a league 1 club than the bottom clubs in the PL & you have Haaland as a playmate.

After success stories like kagawa in somewhat of a fresh memory i find it hard to be blinded by BL stats.. especially when you buy an offensive & mainly chance creating winger only to shoehorn in a stupid “forward style winger role” ..except that season with 17 goals in bundesliga, he ain’t much of a goal scorer & have a whole 3 goals in England’s name.

And since the lad's English he will have about 3 seasons to ”learn the pace of the Pl” while being semi immune to any kind of critic.

Funny that every other team knows how to use their players so that they can confirm their inflated Bundesliga stats in the mighty EPL.

Club just buys these players with no idea what to do with them and no footballing reason behind it. Purely just let’s sign an English superstar to appease the fans. Obvious talent is now being wasted. Under better management with a proper system he’d thrive I’m sure.

Really?

Him being English is not the reason we signed him, Grealish was more of a English superstar when we signed Sancho.

The footballing team was missing a RW for a while, that is why we singed him.

Its the managers fault that he cannot get these players to play, the club back the manager with the players he wants. Out of the last 2 windows only Sancho and Heaton have been English.

Daniel James was the exact same player as Sancho.

A right footed player that could play on the left and on the right.

We sold James to sign Sancho because he is the better alternative and James was average at best.

We won't see Sancho in this one as Walker or Cancello are too quick and powerful for him.

I half expect Ole to throw him in vs City, we lose and then never see Sancho again.

They're different players and the manner in which James left would suggest signing Sancho and him leaving weren't connected.

Now I can see the reason for your outburst. No idea what position the player plays.

18/19 - 33 games RW 10 LW
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jadon-sancho/leistungsdaten/spieler/401173/plus/0?saison=2018

19/20 - 21 games RW, 12 AM, 11 LW

20/21 - 15 games LW, 14 RW, 7 AM

He can play in a variety of positions, what suggests he is Clearly a LW?
The opinion they've formed from watching him play for United only. Probably one of the ones writing him off as garbage and a flop.

Sancho is needed to dribble past weak players. Don't think Man City will be easy to break down. Might as well play counter-attackers like Rashford.

I’m far from thinking Bundesliga is a weak league but the above is hardly true.

Havertz went from 12+6 at Leverkusen to 4+3 at Chelsea. Werner went from 28 goals at Leipzig to 8 at Chelsea. It’s clear that players can have hard time moving between the two leagues. Even Son struggled initially, grabbing just 4 goals and an assist in his first season.

It's true, the step up in speed from that league is obviously hard to get used to.

It's also another reason why it's baffling that people are writing Sancho off already. He's barely been here a few months and is still very young. By next season he will be flying.

He was already showing good signs of improvement before he got sanctioned to the prison bench.

I don't think it is important who we play against. (Even City) He is lacking confidence at the moment and I really don't think it's that important who is in front of him if he's scoring goals and providing assists.

Buying a player for 75M after chasing him for two years, to send him on loan after 6 months, is beyond embarrassing. Its a sackable offense tbf.
Throw in the vdb transfer and It shows that ole's transfer strategy is as scatter gun as all the previous managers post fergie

The moment he got Ronaldo rather than a CM, it showed to me he has no plans at all, and all the tack of "long term vision" is bullshit.

Man Utd 0:2 Man City
I forgot he was on in the 2nd half

we won’t see the best of him until there is complete stability in the middle

Excited to see him with a new coach. Buckets of talent, very smart on the ball, and tbh he works decently hard off it defensively and is far better defensively and with pressing than any of our other wingers or attackers.
