Yeah, I just think that for the prices being quoted Murtough would definitely be involved.
Transfers are interesting because once a window shuts you;re pretty wells tarting from scratch, as such I think this would have been transitioned. Judge definitely working on it but as I replied to Damo, for close to 100 million, Murtough will definitely be involved.

didn't forget him, just think of him as someone who primarily plays up front. Greenwood might too at some point, we'll see ... but the options we have are certainly very exciting.

Even if there is a release clause which is reasonable buying club would still try to negotiate better term of payment structure or If it's bit on the higher side buying clubs would still try to negotiate it down it's just common sense.

Some kind of United transfer market PTSD? I kind of get it to be fair. This feels totally different though. We are actually negotiating and not making a total hash of it by the sounds of things. Having dedicated people there constantly studying the market and in dialogue with clubs is exactly what we’ve been missing.
don't think it's unpopular at all, that might even be the best combination. Although I do think Rashford on the left and Sancho on the right will work very well too.

No point in signing him then. Im sick of signing left sided players, we have more pressing concerns. We are looking at mininal improvement with that move.
There would be times when that will be the case as players get injured or out of form, but I’m not convinced on a Rashford Greenwood wing combo as they are both players looking primarily to score rather than create or create space for others, particularly against teams sitting back.
They will be pretty fluid anyway so regardless of starting position they will pop up in different area’s.

I feel like we've always been organised since the committee formed, it's the valuations piece where the issue was last time. We did offer them £90m last season and they straight up rejected it...that's pretty insane.
Judge seems to get tarred with the Woodward brush because they knew each other pre United but if you look at players we've brought in, the finances and structures involved in fees and salaries + offloading players like Sanchez and sorting the loan financials for lots of our of favour players, that's all on Judge.
I reckon he could comfortably play #10 as well if Lingard leaves and Bruno needs a break here and there.

It's the position he's probably going to ask to be played in before he signs. This is the reason I've never been that excited about his signing. He played the whole 2nd half of the season on the left for Dortmund. He scores more from the left and assists more from the right.
Martial's trial at CF failed and James also much prefers the left so the the signing of Sancho will leave us with

Thats completely unbalanced. Martial and James must go if we sign Sancho. I'd like to see a more experienced player on the right.

The fact that Whitwell reports that Dortmund are open to add-ons this time around makes it feel much more imminent and more a matter of when than if compared to last year when they wanted everything up front and reportedly rubbished the idea of add-ons
Never seen a situation like that occur, where particular scenario goes down to players preferance. Surely, there's something in black and white to avoid such scenarios?
He's about to play in a major tournament. One unlucky injury and they can get massively fecked. He's hardly an asset who's going to raise his value significantly, if he has a good tournie, the time to cash in is definetly now.

First refusal just means that if a player is available for transfer then a club would be informed first. Neither the player or the other club is under any obligation there.

Pretty much.
Basic points taken from that article are:
- Our offer was €75m + €10m (£75.5 million total)
- Dortmund are holding out for €100m (£86 million in total)
- Dortmund are open if the total fee is made up of more add-ons as long as they're achievable. Team success triggers rather than individual success. United are famous for their Ballon d'Or clause (Martial and Fernandes have such).
- We want to spread the payment over more instalments. Dortmund appear flexible on that front and agreement over this is not seen as major hurdle. (I suppose the "We offered to pay over 5 years, they want it over 4" talk came out of that, but apparently is not a biggie.)
- The general feeling from all camps is that a deal will happen. Sancho IS pushing for the move, while still showing the respect his current club deserves. Dortmund are aware of Sancho's wish to move and want to respect it. Dortmund are known to keep their gentleman's agreements and don't want to be seen in bad light as that could harm their model of bringing young promising talent and not stepping in their way when it feels it's the right move.
As far as I’ve seen, there is no first refusal, just the sell on clause. If someone could just splash £50 mill or so on Zaha (go on Arsenal we know you want to), then that would be lovely.
