Shame on him!It's a 10 year contract.

It absolutely is. Good posts get the respect they deserve but when many posters who support teams in the Bundesliga show those strange posting traits and that too usually aimed against United /its fans, then they will get called out accordingly. In that regard, instead of bemoaning the caf changing you should probably look at those posting traits which are really odd. Btw, you dont really know what the caf used to be, it's a very open and welcoming place nowadays, go back 15 years and the response would be much harsher.
That's a good deal for Utd. The only straw I can grab at is what are the agent fees and his salary (I heard 350k+ per week)?
I'm sorry but there's too many.share the quotes
Well, I'm a Dortmund fan and it's quite obviously a great deal for United. There's absolutely no way it will be payed over 5 years in equal instalments though. I'm guessing one of the reasons for the relatively low fee is the fact that the majority will be payed within the first year. In Dortmund's ad-hoc announcement they talked of a positive impact of 56 million for the upcoming fiscal year which would make sense. Anyway, even if it were 85 million up front it's still a great deal for United.share the quotes
A feeder club in denial.I’m a bit confused why Dortmund are so salty about this.
When they sign these teenage prospects, isn’t the whole idea that they develop them and sell them? I don’t think they’ve ever been fooled into thinking these are long term transfers.
They get a few years of a great player and then a huge profit. It’s a good deal for them.
Obviously Haaland and Bellingham will leave within the next 3 years too. It’s just the understanding

Because they were giving it large about fleecing United for 120m and they've been brought back to reality by the fact that Dortmund can and will negotiate the price.I’m a bit confused why Dortmund are so salty about this.

That is because they book the revenue in this fiscal year and show it as receivables from transfer. In actual they will get this money over a number of years. At least that is what a normal business will do.Well, I'm a Dortmund fan and it's quite obviously a great deal for United. Gotta love me some good old sweeping generalisations. It is not about the individual content of the posts anymore, not even about the people themselves that write it. Now just the affiliation to a league or club is enough to be put in the same pot as if they are some kind of hivemind and be beaten over the head with cheap and lazy statements.
Maybe I should not be suprised as this is so widespread in internet forums, but I still can´t be helped to feel annoyed as the Caf used to be more welcoming to the views of opposing supporter. It kinda set it apart from other football boards as other perspectives and insights were viewed as enriching and informative to discussions. Banter used to be smarter and more fun than just throwing the same tired stereotypes around. I had some of my best football discussions on here (some of them even about German football with other Germans), but nowadays there is just less and less reason to actually participate if the reaction is just "Bundesliga defense force lul".
85m euro is the fixed fee as stated by Dortmund in the contract they've submitted so there are no add-ons. the only thing it didn't include was the fee paid to the agent.
it's a 5 yr installment which means United have done brilliantly to get a TOP TOP player without paying over the odds.
It also means there is still significant money available to solidify the CB position and CM position as they focus in one two targets who combined would be the fee agree for Sancho.
This could be a brilliant transfer summer.
You might be right, I have no idea about these kind of things. However, from past deals where detailed information is available, the payment structure almost always seems to be a big chunk at the beginning and smaller instalments later on.That is because they book the revenue in this fiscal year and show it as receivables from transfer. In actual they will get this money over a number of years. At least that is what a normal business will do.
Ah, the high moral ground. Let's just pretend gutter level posting like the below didn't happen. If you come to a Manchester United forum looking to antagonise then United fans will obviously respond. The sensible posts tend not to get a bad, ones like the below though...If you think stuff like "Sancho is better at LW than RW", "Dortmund won't accept a bid after the deadline" "the BVB won't go down with the price since they don't want to sell" are mean spirited posts against United or it's fans, you're correct. German posters in here deal with much more aggressive stuff all the time because the close midned tribal section of United fans on this board project their frustration on others and somehow blame them and German clubs for the fact that Sancho didn't end up at United last season.
As you see in the reactions in here, no member of the "BDL" has any antipathy towards United, nobody of "us" is mad that you signed him. If anything, I'll be rooting for you now since you've signed one of my favourite players, same way I rooted for Chelsea after they bought Havertz. So it would be nice now that the transfer is done to relax a little and stop that antagonizing, at least until the next transfer saga regarding a Bundesliga player is on.
Can't wait for the rivers of salt once Sancho underperformes and the Caf starts cursing out Dortmund for fleecing them yet again.
Where's the saltiness though? It's not salty to be sad that a great player leaves for a lower fee than expected, it's just normal.I’m a bit confused why Dortmund are so salty about this.

Thats the only post of its kind so far. If that's enough to generalize, then you can also cherrypick idiotic posts by United fans to stereotype the entire United fanbase. This shit about German posters really is just a lazy stereotype and by now very boring, and it's annoying how it infests Bundesliga-related discussions across the forum.Ah, the high moral ground. This year, yes. I think the general standard of posts from the Bundesliga lads was way more povoking and just generally shit last year. Maybe the same applies for us muppets in here, but it's a giddy United board after all.Thats the only post of its kind so far. Although that goes back to the same point about lots of United posters being really bullish about this, and getting responses in kind. This year, yes. Of course I don't mean all posts. A lot of quality and sensible posts were also found last year.

Wow.
Hear, hear. It's the most depressing trend of the Caf these days: anything German-related, and the comedians come swarming out with the "Bundesliga Defence League" posts which stopped being funny some time around last summer.Thats the only post of its kind so far.
