only we haven't agreed to pay city on top of the 72, but yeah let's just make shit up.Maybe the "add-ons" difference that is being quoted differently in UK and Germany is that we have agreed the £72.9m fee with Dortmund.
However we have also agreed to pay the "sell on fee" due to Man City on Dortmund's behalf.
Us sending it to City will be cheaper than both clubs losing money on a currency conversion.
So we can say £72.9m with "no add-ons" to Dortmund. Meanwhile Dortmund can claim this fee, plus their commitment to pay City taken off their books?
No-ones lying, and both sides can claim a victory.
