Might very well be that FA dont want any distraction or attention taken away from the Euro’s.

Doesn't on football manager though? Why should it in real life? Those games are so realistic now, it's not the 90s ffs.

It’s like people completely detatch themselves from reality.
Considering the bid” when talking about a 90 million euro deal is going to involve a lot, not least because it involves add ons, a Manchester City payment & a 4-5 year payment plan.
All of that needs to be scrutinised down to the last detail:

• how likely are those add ons, you’d expect any well run club to have data analysts working on that.
• how will the initial payment and the Manchester City payment effect the current Summer transfer strategy. This may even involve negotiations with another club or several for the players they want and what payment plans those clubs would be willing to accept.
Dortmund’s banks would almost certainly be involved also and they’d also need to scrutinise the numbers.

It a big fecking deal, not a toaster.

I'm sorry but is this Sancho guy worth his salt? I know he is talented blah blah blah but is not signing him means end of the title challenge? Come on now.. let's be real..

If he signs, he will get like what, 15 goals and 15 assists? Would you call that a success? Still wouldn't win us the league, a step closer but he alone won't win us the league..

Spend the money elsewhere where it's more needed. Let Amad and greenwood develop on the RW.

Jeezzzz...

So he will take us closer to winning the league but won't win us the league by himself? We should only sign peak Ronaldo/Messi as per this benchmark.

Are we still considering, getting closer etc etc ?

Interesting analysis.

I see him a Bruno replacement by the time Jadon hits his mid-20s.

Probably better if he doesn't and England get booted out at the earliest :p

Now now... It's only two weeks on Sunday and then we'll be 'out'

Also.. England are through regardless of tonight's result so we might as well let Sancho turn himself into the star of the tournament

No it's not.
It's simply that some select few of you guys are highly confused, uninformed, hysterical, and paranoid.

If BVB consistently gave us their best player for 'feck all', believe me, we'd be signing Sancho

Barca paid like 140m for Dembélé who, while insanely talented too, had nowhere near the consistent record of Sancho.
Chelsea paid 60m € for a Pulisic who had only one year left on his contract and spent the last season at BVB on the bench, benched by a certain 17 year old... Sancho.

Stop crying like little babies, or old men. You're not being treated unfairly. Noone's out to get you.

It's just a transfer. You're buying a player. That player costs money. It's the most normal thing in the world.

chill out. And your assumptions are really really rubbish.

I think we might even be at the 'weighing it up' stage..!!!
I thought we were in discussions about making another bid, or are we in discussions if they decline the current bid?

Well I think signing him will solve us a few problems:
- finally an established attacking player purely on the right after years of searching
- he is a playmaker, our current front 3 options is too direct, so adding a playmaker there would add more variety to our attacking play
- he is young and English, which means our right wing position would be settled for many years
- he works well with Haaland, who knows this could be the key decisive factor for Haaland joining us next summer
- out of all current players, he is the closest thing to Messi, in terms of goals, assist, playmaking, dribbling etc. Ok they are still some miles apart, but you get what I mean.

He will also help quite well with playing out from the back on AWB's side, so we wont be as vulnerable to high press as we are atm.

Sick of the same pointless updates. We’re edging, closing, preparing. Just give them the damn money and get the deal over the line.

These posts make me laugh. Absolutely stinks of impatience.. What is the rush to get this done now?

This in a nutshell.

Some posters on here need a slap from reality. The moment the Sancho deal gets confirmed (if it indeed does) it'll be over and those same posters will then jump to the Varane thread spouting the same nonsense, and the process repeats.

Like a bunch of self-entitled and spoilt teenagers.

For a lot on here, it seems transfers are the most exciting part of supporting the club.
