Jack Grealish | Man City

Grealish isn't a bad player it's just does his ability "fit" city's phases of play. I think Grealish does well for a club when he's the focal point bt with Foden / De Bryune city signing him is more of a requirement for him to grow and develop. That's not exactly something that a 100 million signing should be bringing to a team. It's understandable if Jack was a teenager but he's in his prime is a big ask from Pep.

He's pretty much just there to compliment their defensive fouls with some high press diving. Incredible so much money has been spent to build such a shithouse side.

Having a go at someone for out diving him at the end was embarrassing.

Nice legs though, innit.

Best player in the league.
Better than Bruno
More entertaining than Beckham
New Ronaldinho

He just strolls around, walks up and down, holds the ball with no real intention, attempts to dribble, goes back, passes backward or sideway. No urgency, no impact on anything.

Surely, you can't call him a good player with that, let alone 100 million game changing Ronaldinho of this generation.

A lot to improve. Hope he does not.

Didn’t win enough free kicks. He won’t want to lose his most fouled title.

£100m for a guy who draws fouls. He drew about 5 or 6 today. They got what they paid for, good business.

Kneejerk reactions will be unavoidable, however having the title britain's most expensive signing means a new level of pressure and scrutiny now. Let's see if the media are going to criticize him like they did with expensive signings such as Pogba. One standard for all....

Total waste of money..?

Only early days but from the outside a totally baffling signing. City got players in wide areas who are at least as good. For £30m as a squad option it would have made sense.

They're desperate for striker or even two.

All the goodwill he has built for himself in that Villa side that made England fans cheer for him while he was on the bench at the Euros, all of that will be gone soon. You can be a flair player, drawing fouls in a plucky underdog team and everybody loves that. But you take those same skills to this City side and see yourself become the annoying twat pretty soon. Quite a shame.

He is not better than sterling that I can promise you. Guardiola better realize this before he risks unsettling his only direct quality player.

He has about a tenth of the mentality that Bruno has, and people want him over Bruno on here

Won 5 fouls today, huge performance.

Better than Sancho or Bruno though, feck off

Definitely a good dribbler and will do very well at City but he's not this insanely good player he's made out to be. Average today.

If it was us spending £100 million on Grealish, he’d be butchered in the press. He’ll get a pass.

Said it all summer he’s going to flop big time

The people in here suggesting he’s better than Bruno should quit watching football you’re fecking clueless
