Jack Grealish | Man City

Wonder if he'll win a hat-trick of fouls on the opening day to keep pace with Bruno's goals today, since that seems to be equivalent for some on here.

Jack Rodwell?

Yep. Spent years on here being hyped way beyond his level of ability. Add on Barley as well to this group. Others I can't currently remember off the top of my head too.

Not to say that Graelish isn't a great player of course.

every girl I know is in love with him. I’m sure many will watch city now he has a shirt on.. and that’s what city bought him for. He has that appeal.
So not that many then.

He's right but there is absolutely no reason for Grealish to come out and say this, to be honest.

Why does he look like an extra from Breaking bad there...

 good one.

Don't think he will make a direct impact in goals and assists all that much for them but will help to retain even more possession so they will be even more annoying to play. BUt yeah someone should drop Ashley Young statistics every once in a while this thread to calm down a bit.

Some people complaining Pogba slows play down want us to sign this guy.
Needs to be coached out of him, he holds the ball too long.

at this stage i think we can safely say he’s the worst signing in premier league history.

It's his first game of the season, so being too harsh isn't useful.

However, it's hard to see how he'll bring something new or different to this City side. City are really struggling to directly and effectively penetrate, and finish.

Spurs' forward combination is not even that great, Bergjwin and Son aren't combining well. But one good moment from Son and the game tips, this will be fun to watch.

I don't know what I'm watching, but it's definitely not the best player in the league

He's still very much the Villa Grealish, in time he'll adapt and Pep will make him fit into their style, because at the moment as expected its an odd fit.

"No disrespect to Villa, but the players there were shite mate, let me tell ya, absolute trash and Dean Smith smells like a baboons arse, it's horrible. But no disrespect to Villa."

It's impossible to not read this in Rondey Dangerfield's voice.

Quiet game from him so far. Top player, but very overrated. Not much better than what they have already if better at all.

Came with so much hype because apparantely his face, hairstyle and playing style resembles David Beckham when he is nowhere near David Beckham in terms of looks, global appeal and achievement. I don't see anything attractive about him, he is just an average looking white bloke. He look damn old as well, doesn't have Beckham's boyish youthful looks at that same age. It's crazy how marketing and hype from the media and PR can get you. Will be funny as hell if City's most expensive signing turns out to be a flop.

Weird, arrogant signing, just feels like a bad fit signed to show they can. Reminds me of zlatan going to Barca. Love watching the player though
