Giggzy, this isn't realistic and deep in your heart you know it.

Look, people calling for Fergie's head after 3 defeats are idiots, especially given the injury crisis at the club and his record. But whatever we think, we all know that failure to qualify for the Champions League this season would mean gigantic changes at OT - and you can guess what one of those would be. The money's just too big now for it to be any other way.

and i never thought we'd win the league at the beginning of the season.

so essentially you blame SAF for our current form? if we had started this season with a different manager but with all these injury problems and no new players, other than rio, you think that the new manager could be doing better?

no man.. that's not the point at all.. i'm no expert at managing a team.. but suddenly SAF seems only as good as me.. that's no good sign.. i support the team.. i get hurt when its manager is producing shit for results.. doesn't mean i want to be the manager.. it just means i want our quality football back.. i miss it.. don't you?

i cry when we lose.. it's painful man.. it really is.. don't you feel it?

i think you are the muppets. you're head still stuck in the clouds?

i'm sorry there is so much "SACK FERGIE" being posted that i can't tell who wants it or who is laughing at it.

Indeed, as a fan, if Alex took United into the 3rd Division, it wouldn't change any of the debt we owe him. He'll get his statue whatever happens.

But I don't think that Fergie is the kind of guy who would accept anything less of himself than winning, let alone the Plc.

exactly.. he's done ENOUGH.. there's nothing more he can do.. why not open way for someone else to do it..

you mean that because he took us to 20 trophies he now has the rights to bring us down singlehandedly? we were almost full strength tonight.. we had the perfect opportunity to go back to 4-4-2 yet he stuck with 4-4-1-1..

Shitty had no defence.. yet we insisted on not having any strikers either.. who are we kidding?

the whole point was for him to leave a good solid club for the future.. he's destroying it now.. i'm really really and am deeply hurt by all this.. i don't hate him at all.. but i really don't want him to destroy it just because of his ignorance.. it's crazy.. it's absurd..

ARE YOU REALLY SAYING THAT BECAUSE HE WON US 7 LEAGUE TITLES AND 1 EUROPEAN CUP HE NOW HAS THE RIGHTS TO TAKE US DOWN?

You, and a couple of others, use this forum just to have a go at other fans and boost your ego by doing so. You've said you didn't expect us to win the title this year, before it had even started, but that this is ok, how long will it be ok for? When do you see Alex winning it again for us?

Runited..... have some respect.

i don't think you were a United fan(*thats if you are indeed one) before SAF was manager..

Myself and the rest of the United supporters owe him a huge debt..

if it means mediocrity under his managment...so beit.

if thats not what u want...then go ahead and support Arsenal :)

i support this team and i see it as being bigger than SAF himself no matter what.

Look what happened after Sir Matt.. we still respect him.. all of us do.. but had his successor been someone with better ability we would have been more thankful.. our legacy would have continued.. i don't want to be close to my coffin 60 years from now before i see another league title.. i want SAF to leave behind a legacy that can be continued.. that will last.. he will always be remembered as the man who started it all.. and not the one who also ended it all..

you're ignorant because you won't mind going down with him.. you don't think about our financial side.. you don't think about our 65,000 capacity stadium.. how do you think we got here? and you just want to give it all up? we're the biggest club in the world.. i would like to remain this way.. i really do..

'Quite simply, they have underachieved. They have received a rollicking - and quite rightly so. In big games like this concentration is the key and ours was poor. It was a real kick in the teeth. We work hard to prepare them for games like today and they have let us down.

'We had chances to pull back but even if we had finished at 3-3, it would have masked our lack of concentration. We will address the situation on the training ground but I am not happy and my staff are not happy. We will get a reaction from this.'

There's nothing wrong with being angry about this situation, or critical of the team (and hence the manager), in fact, its appropriate.

So how would another manager turn things around apparently theres no manager better at motivation than SAF and 65,000 capacity+ a few more

SAF already left a great plan for the future.. he's done a lot for this club.. but by no means does he have any previledge to take us down.. I truly believe he knows exactly how to fix this, but he's not doing it because of his ignorance..

i don't believe our players are out of form.. i believe they're being played wrong tactically.. one man and only one man can fix it.. not roy keane.. but SAF himself..

i don't want him sacked or removed. i want him to come to his senses and play us with his best tactics.

same goes with the current crop.... if indeed a new manager comes in, he'll have to completely change things around.

so get used to mediocrity.

Which are the aging one's, who would you replace, or daren't you say? How can this happen, without the manager being culpable?

among the 65000 there are a lot of prawn sandwiches munchers.. too many.. so we won't talk about them..

about the new manager.. i have never said i wanted to see a new manager.. i said i wanted the old SAF back.. the ones who plans for each game alike with the same 4-4-2 formation.. we had only one tactic.. one game plan.. and that was to go all out attack.. press and press and press..

we're not doing it anymore.. we're sacrificing EPL games for the sake of practicing 4-4-1-1.. SAF is hiding behind the players saying the lack this they lack that.. i think it's bullshit.. he knows it's his tactics that's undermining us.

And should me win the PL or CL this season should SAF have been sacked then
NO HE WOULD BE A HERO AGAIN

I wonder if the exact same thing wouldn't happen with this "saviour" who would replace SAF.

In fact, I think it's exactly what would happen.

Just out of curiosity, who would be this great man who would bring us back all our glory?

he wants the CL too much he's willing to give up the EPL that's what!!!! he's using 4-4-1-1 in games that he shouldn't!! Shitty had the CRAPPIEST defensive team in the history of football today..

KK played 3 defenders who played with each other only ONCE their whole careers.. and we couldn't get more than a single goal and lost 3.. even i could have managed the team and get a better result.. it's sad.. but i think it's true..

i hear a lot about it.. i read books.. i have friends who go to matches.. i've been a fan for 10 years.. i think i know exactly what the prawn sandwich eaters are like.. i know so many gloryhunters in Bangkok it's unbelievable.. today they already talked about how much they like liverpool's style and how much they think liverpool should win.. i got pissed off man.. i really did.. don't discriminate me just because i'm in bangkok.. my heart is at OT every gameday.

Look back just a couple of years and you will see where a lot of the problems come from.
When Kidd was #2 we were good. Kidd fecked up by thinking he could do it all. We all know what happened to him. He was still a good #2 to O'Leary.
We got McLaren to replace him and the succes continued. One of the best coaches around. Then we let him go and what has happened since.? We had Ryan and now Quizeros, not a lot happening.
In the meantime Liverpool are getting better, take a look at their coaching staff. Thompson, bit of a prick but a good #2. Sammy Lee, also helps with Ingerland. Courvoisier, very highly ranked French coach, already making an impact.

But SAF is leaving behind a legacy.. players in their peak years.. no aging ones except for Blanc who when he came was already aged..

this team should have been at their peak at the moment.. yet we're slipping.. with mediocre formations and tactics.. it's nuts..

they might be at their peak in terms of age...

but the core of our squad, are veterans in terms of winning titles... i think its natural that they have lost 'hunger' of yesteryear.

so you think with a better number 2 we will be better? then what's the point of SAF being involved in all this if all we need is a good number 2..
