It's Jose Mourinho's birthday, post something nice about him

With some of the worst football, and a toxic atmosphere for most of it. Outside of the first two months of 17/18 it was pretty joyless.

I think he did.

Would you play the season highlights from Moyes or LVG era. Im sure as hell don't even dare to open the bluray case.

We had managers before Fergie though.

We finished 3rd and won the FA Cup under Atkinson in 83. That's better than last season

He is no longer manager of Manchester United,i think that's as nice as it could get.

His daughter is pretty attractive

@Bobcat

I wouldn't say no,but i would worry what she would do with her 3 fingers,if she is anything like her dear ol dad.

Arguably, yes, fair shout. We did do well that season. Also wen’t to the LC final. Went out in the first round of the UEFA cup though. 2nd place innthenleague, runners up inntja FA cup and won our group in CL may not be better. Not a lot in it, though. I think the jist of the point still stands.

Another fecking Jose thread. Can we not just forget about him? Seriously?

Happy Birthday Jose

Are Chelsea and Utd fans like some kind of arms brothers, now that they both went through the full JM experience?

They got 3 league titled out of him - so in that sense we didn't get the full JM experience.

But to say something nice: he's not the only top manager that couldn't hack it at Unites but he'll probably get other big jobs and br successful again

The celebration at Anfield at in 2014 after Willian's goal to make it 2-0 will always be iconic.

To me it was even more iconic that his celebrations at Old Trafford in 2004 or the Camp Nou in 2010, given that that it wasn't in a particularly big match for Chelsea given that they were out of the title race themselves.

His peak as a manager was incredibly high.

2003/2004 and 2009/10 - Champions League

2004/05, 05/06 and 14/15 - Premier League

2011/12 - La liga against best Barcelona ever

2016/17 - Europa League

People make fun of him right now, but absolute legend of the game.

Need to see him back in the Premier League one more time. at some point.

Jose Mourinho once went 9 years in a row without losing a single league game at home [2002-2011]. He managed Porto, Chelsea, Inter and Real Madrid in that time. 107 different teams failed to beat him across 150 different matches. One of the craziest stats ever.

Happy birthday to the Special One

He won two trophies for us in the 2016-17 season. The only time since I started following United in which we won more than one trophy in the same season.

His theatrics after knocking out Barcelona at the Nou Camp semi-final will be remembered long after he's done. The pictures of him running at full time already look like classic football photos - the dark blue shirt, the dishevelled tie, the finger raised. I can give or take mourinho, but that was a defining moment for him.

He proved Sir Bobby right which is always a good thing. We should've never entertained the idea of hiring him.

My absolute favorite non-United football moment

Happy birthday, enjoy your day with your family and friends.

Great post.
Whenever I think about José, I feel a bit sad that things didn't turn out better.

After finishing 2nd with 81 points, I thought he was going to take us back to the top.
But in the end, he had to go.

So happy birthday José and I hope you will get another team to manage. Just not Manchester United.

I feel like football was better when he was at his peak. There was more drama and excitement around the game as a whole. So many more moments.

His Porto, Inter, Real and Chelsea teams are all iconic and he has greater highs than any working manager today.

A legend of the game!
