It's Jose Mourinho's birthday, post something nice about him

Umm...he has nice dimples?

He's a very doable 55 year old.

My missus still thinks your hot.

He looks like he smells nice

Something nice about him.

His complexion is decent

Happy Birthday Jose, if you ever get divorced, you can always come back to the Lowry and have a nice get-together with some members of the CAF.

This. History will look very kindly at him. Best manager in the world at a point and clearly someone who'll end up with a record few can dream of.

All of that said, what a dour clueless cnut he turned into towards the end. feck him.

Late Failures tend to be remembered far more then early achievements though. No one remember Pompey's exploits in destroying piracy and his ability to add Syria and Judea in the empire. All they remember is that his arse got handled to him by Caesar. Same with Napoleon. Non historian people will barely remember the battle of Austerlitz or his superb Italian campaign. The first thing it comes to mind about him is Waterloo.

I see that a lot in football especially with Sacchi. I also find that the more they speak about the glories of the past the more they sound pathetic and out of touch. They become like those old people who keeps talking about the war to justify the struggles modern people face these days.

Fantastic manager at his best. I hope he can rediscover himself. Happy birthday to you Jose.

He's only 56. He will come back to the top with one of his type of clubs I'm sure of it.

I don't recall Napoleon having ten men in defence, chief...

Who gives a feck about what non historian people think about history?

He sometimes has good dress sense.

Particularly in coats.

Just ask to the average non French dude the first battle that comes to mind concerning Napoleon.

He makes me appreciate the good times we are having right now. If it was not for him, how could we have Ole back in the fold and the football became exciting again

Did great work with Porto, Chelsea and Inter.
His ability to brainwash people is very impressive.

Stopped Liverpool winning the league.
The Europa League win was great.
He isnt our manager anymore.

3 nice things. Happy Birthday Jose.

Happy Birthday Jose, can I recommend spending some of your severance pay on any book by Daniel Goleman on Emotional Intelligence.

Or maybe get yourself tested for Narcissistic Personality Disorder and seek treatment.

I like his arrogance. He has taught me that pride comes before a fall so there's that.

Hannibal Barca is still mostly remembered fondly despite his eventual defeat at the hands of Scipio.

It really depends on what your agenda is. Ie, regarding Napoleon, the majority of people over here (Serbia) will remember that he had his ass handed to him by the Russian winter. Why? Because people over here like the Russians and enjoy the narrative that they stopped both Napoleon and Hitler.

I am really not sure where the entire idea that late failures are remembered more comes from. We all decline over time. The time of the decline depends on the profession, but it does come, for players as well as managers.

There will be no late failures to remember Zidane for if he decides to never manage again, but everyone who has been in the game for a while have had failures. Pep has not won the CL without Messi and that freak midfield. SAF has won it only twice. Klopp has lost how many finals, six? And so on and so on.

Let's go back to Zidane. Would you say that he, as a player, is mostly remembered for the Materazzi headbutt? For anyone who was around in 1998 and 2001, the answer is no.

To go back to the Napoleon thingy... What people will remember Mourinho by depends on how they feel about him. The neutrals will probably see him as the best manager of the 00's, who declined in the following decade. But it's hardly a stick to beat with him with, not that many manager to remain at the very top for a decade plus.

Sorry, but for me he will only be remembered as an ugly part of our history, a man given the keys to the football kingdom only to try to set it on fire. Bollocks to his birthday

Was funny when he kep mispronouncing Contes name and replaced the o with a “u”.

CAF filter wouldn’t let me write the letter “u”

Took us a good way up from Van Gaal, and left a decent squad for Ole.

3rd season backfired though, but overall he's made us more capable of winning things.

Dresses like a model too. Happy birthday.

More than you believe, more than you believe I am happy. I'm so happy, believe me. I'm so happy, happy birthday.

Thanks for saying yes to the purchase of Pogba.

Happy birthday José! Thanks for your implication in bringing in Zlatan, Pogba, Lindelof, Dalot and Emilio Alvarez. Thanks for the trophies as well.
You did what you think was best for the club, now time to move on and respect his time.
