For those who know Haaretz, the Israeli government has just decided that any government body or one that receives funding from it will cut ties (subscriptions, ads, etc) with the newspaper.

An Israeli man who went missing in the United Arab Emirates has been found murdered, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said, denouncing his death as a “heinous antisemitic terrorist act”, Reuters reports.

“The state of Israel will use all means at its disposal to bring the criminals responsible for his death to justice,” the prime minister’s statement said.

Madness. You know, as an Israeli, that Haaretz is one of the most respected papers, internationally, that currently exists. Precisely because it offers a critique of Israel whilst absolutely not being "anti-Israeli" (just anti-Insanity).
