Ipswich Town | Can they stay up?

They're sticking with the relegation battle above them so every chance.

Jack Taylor who scored the winner today has scored at every level from Conference to Premier League. What a climb!
 
They won’t stay up with that quality. They need 2-3 players in January of Premier League quality to come in and give them a chance in a higher percentage of their fixtures.

At the moment, they just don’t have enough.

McKenna seems to like keeping the squad together and values that togetherness, but they need quality. A couple of good loans would give them a fighting chance.
 
Soton are definitely going down. It’s really a toss up for the other 2 spots between 4 teams - Everton, Wolves, Leicester and Ipswich.

It should be, really, but it won’t be. Ipswich and Leicester aren’t good enough and the teams at the very bottom are getting guaranteed safety. The whole thing needs to be addressed, City, relegation, the disparity. The PL have let things get so messy.

Last season the bottom three were all the newly promoted teams, and if Wolves sort themselves out it'll probably be the same again this season. The likes of Forest, Bournemouth, Fulham that you'd normally expect to see battling around the relegation places all have built good squads. Feels like it's getting harder and harder for newly promoted teams to compete.
 
2 out of 3 for me - Ipswich, Wolves or Leicester to join Southampton. That Everton defence should get them by.

If Leicester beat Wolves tomorrow it puts Wolves in heaps of trouble, 8 points behind them and catching them would be unlikely. Not impossible but very tough.

Would start to look like Ipswich v Leicester in a race for survival, advantage Leicester.

All this premature, that game tomorrow impossible to predict.
