IPL 2017 | MI Champions. Win by 1 run

I'm absolutely cursed this IPL.

Star manned Narine after they started using him as a pinch hitter and they start picking De Grandhomme over him for that job. Then I don't put him back in and he goes fecking ballistic.

Interesting little tidbit from Butcher on Sky about Tye raging about being left out.

But it was inevitable. Cant drop bmac. Smith and finch are also dangerous on their day. Faulkner brings in a better batting option

I don't really rate Smith tbh, I think Finch does that job better and certainly I don't rate him enough to make me think that dropping your only consistent wicket threat so far is a good idea.

True but their batting is thin as it is. Jason Roy should play imo. But it takes out finch if he doesn't open. Same with Roy. Their team is highly imbalanced

Roy was such a weird pick for them. How many hard hitting all or nothing openers who can't play spin does one team need?

Yeah exactly. Some people are like that. I think Delhi daredevils have picked Ben hilfenhaus to replace Duminy. If true, that's the most senseless decision. They already have Cummins Morris shami Zaheer Mishra in their team and options in Corey Anderson and brathwaite. Surely hilfenhaus is overkill

Edit - they also have Rabada

That was amazing from Dhoni today. Took me back to late 2000s and early 2010s. RPS funnily are 4th playing the same matches as everyone else.

Can't believe these on-field interviews is still a thing after all these years. So cringeworthy.

Even RPS has started playing well. RCB should be disbanded entirely for this

Narine won them the game with his batting. No other batsmen even got close to being comfortable in the middle

Looks like I made a mistake by buying tickets for KKR game in Bangalore. It's the last home game and looking very likely that it will be a dead rubber. Worst thing is we booked 12 tickets.

RPS peaking at the right time. They have finally found a good combo of foreign players in Tahir smith stokes and Christian

Christian has been really good this season. Never was impressed with his bowling but seems to be effective this time. Stokes has been Almost always sensational mainly with ball. Today his first over (in the PP) was a wicket maiden and took a wicket when he came back later with his first delivery. Manoj Tiwary has also been excellent this season doing a Dhoni in most innings

Atleast you bought a RCB ticket, you'll be entertained either ways, be it them scoring 200+ or crashing to an all out in 15 overs.

I have a perfect record whether it's RCB or India matches, looks like it's under big threat this season. Worst thing is there is a very good chance this might be a dead rubber for RCB.

Sure. Whatever. Just remember that the trophy is worth less won now.
I would say Mumbai currently is playing as good as any IPL side has ever played and have a squad that is a nightmare to beat in their current form. I know that's a weird comment since they lost their last game but them, SRH and KKR are all really good with excellent balance and quality who would give a good match to peak CSK.

It's amazing how shit Uthappa has been for India given his talent.
