Ipl 2010

fecking hell, what a fecking innings
those two shots
feck

Dhoni certainly enjoyed that innings, his reaction after hitting that last six was quite intense, he is normally very calm and composed on the field

yes
the way he punched himself was a "wtf? feck YEAH!" moment

Never seen him this pumped though. I loved the end. Was gasping at the size of the hit of the previous ball. The next one went the same route and just as i was about to switch the tv off, they showed Dhoni punching air, his face and everything in his path.

That made me smile with glee, don't know why. But it did.

You were going to switch off the TV right after that six????

Delhi  Can't believe they blew it.

On paper the batting lineup of Sehwag, Gautam, Dilshan, Warner, Collingwood and Karthik looks pretty good, but in reality they have been awful except for a few matches. There were certain rumors about Sehwag leaving Delhi after this IPL, think it might be true

Have there been any rumours about arrivals or departures concerning Kings XI Punjab? We desperately need to shake it up for next year, especially with certain big money purchases not even getting a look in towards the end of the tournament.

Think Yuvraj will leave the KXIP, there has been loads of rumors of him being secretly talking to MI before this IPL started and that's why Yuvi has been so disinterested this season. Plus his off the field actions like going on parties late night have pissed off his team owners as well.

Punjab will certainly have to invest in their pace bowling attack next year, they have quite a rubbish pace attack

I hope that Yuvraj stuff isn't true! Of course, he hasn't had a great tournament but he's an awesome player and the best Punjabi player - always great to see local players playing for the local team (as he's from Chandigarh too) so hope he stays.

Definitely agreed about the pace attack bit, not sure what happened with Jerome Taylor (who was injured for last year) and Kulasekara (who was apparently signed by us but never played). Sreesanth, Brett Lee, Yusuf Abdulla etc were all very disappointing.

MI will be one of the least preferred options imo after all the celebrations he did against the mumbai crowd in the first edition of IPL. One of the new teams might be a possibility if he does move.

Reading some of his and Punjab's owners' comments, I doubt he will leave but I guess anything can happen in the next year. There could be some real movement across the board in the IPL for the next season.

Yuvraj would do well at Chennai. He's a snob, but I think Dhoni can keep any player under control. Don't play Hayden, open with Morkel and play Yuvraj in the middle order. Use that extra foreign slot for Flintoff. Would be an unbeatable team. He'll probably go to one of the new franchises, though.. they need a player to build around.

That Pune team has loads of money, Subrata Roy would surely splash loads of money to buy a super player.

Unbeatable? If anything you'll need bowlers. Think it was clear from your mediocre performances this year.

PS: Flintoff doesn't count. We have more chance of seeing Hargreaves play than Flintoff.

It does not work that way. Everyone has a transfer fee and wage cap for players.

I hope the recent scandal sinks IPL. Would be grand.

Sehwag out of World T20, god damn.

Why does the Indian team keep picking up injuries before major tournaments all the bloody time?

Assuming Flintoff is fit, that team could start with Morkel, Flintoff, Murali, Bollinger all 4 who can bowl.

I thought they're on the verge of increasing the transfer fee and wage cap for players?

Modi is getting exactly what he deserves, he is a bit stupid though. If you aren't from a political party than you shouldn't mess with a ruling party publically

Yo zinger boy!. Think we've got a chance?

T20, anything can happen. And Sachin(if he plays) won't be 100%. Definitely a chance.

Saw the match or were you studying again??

Chennai will win. Bar Sachin no one can handle their spinners in MI.

Don't know about that, Rayudu and Tiwary handled Kumble pretty well in the first semi final. Any chance that Chennai could drop Hayden, he has been pretty wank in the whole tournament except the one match

Nope, I don't think Hayden will be dropped. No replacement for him. I imagine there's a possibility of opening with Morkel(or pushing Srikanth up to open) and drafting Hussey into the middle order, which wouldn't be such a bad decision. Hayden, if he fires, can change the complexion of the game, I think that's why they're fidgeting over dropping him. If they do drop him and include Hussey, it'll be a very solid middle order. Raina, Dhoni, Morkel, Hussey, Badrinath..

Its nothing but a scam to transfer large amounts of black money. People only started barking because they didnt get there cut.

Hasn't been proven yet. Large amount of money. Ridiculous amounts of money. Yes! But black/underworld money? Nope. The money is legit but everyone is taking their share.

I'm waiting for the day the shit truly hits the fan. They've killed a sport, in my eyes. Noone's going to give a fecking crap about this nonsense in a couple of years.

Superkings v Indians my arse.

"Sahara Pune Warriors"- What a shit name for the team.
