Injury Crisis 2023/24 | Martínez and Casemiro back in training

A Twitter aggregator posted something from Luckhurst saying that Malacia had suffered from throat discomfort all season and that was why he'd been out. Sounds completely ridiculous but the complete lack of info does seem unusual?

Assume thats innacurate, it says Martinez had knee surgery and Amad also had a knee injury. I thought it was foot and ankle respectively
Yeah every report I find including the Athletic says Martinez had metatarsal surgery. Maybe just lazy editing from MEN.

One pattern would be playing our centre back before his foot had healed properly. Muppets.

I reckon it's that the removl of Phil Jones from the treament is the equivelant of a supernova exploding and leaving a black hole, which is now engulfing the rest of the squad at a rapid rate.

The investigation has now concluded and the investigators have confirmed that the players are, indeed, injured.

Saw a tweet Casemiro asked to be subbed off today due to an ankle injury. Hopefully it's a precaution, he sits out the next game and comes back fresher.

If you look into each injury there is no conspiracy here, we have a normal amount of injuries, plus we have some from bad tackles. We also have younger players that have gotten unlucky and have been added to the list.

Seems quite a few clubs are struggling with a lot of injuries. With United we've had too many defensive injuries bound to effect the team

The PL has the most injuries out of any top league, and with the increase in games, injuries are becoming more common. Instead of an internal investigation, we need to speak to the people increasing the amount of games.

Yep, agree with this

Casemiro is injured great. We have our shiny new WC signing and Casemiro has been kind of s... recently.
A CB is injured. Great we have two more CBs despite the quality.
Sancho is not getting minutes. Great we have Rashford, Garnacho and Antony.
We are supposed to have a SQUAD that can adjust to this and except the LB position we are covered.
What we see on the pitch and what we think about those subs is another subject completley.

Just can’t catch a fecking break! Casemiro out and just when you think it’s fine we’ll cope we’ve got Amrabat to step in, he goes and gets injured as well. FFS.

What do we treat our players with? Magic sponge and orange segment at HT?

Get to the summer and sack the whole medical team/physios.

At least we can rush back Mainoo and pin all our hopes and dreams on him

What in the goddamn feck?

What's Amrabat's injury?

e - lower back injury per Premier Injuries.

Amrabat joined the Morocco squad injured. Can’t be that bad that he wasn’t sent home sooner . Hopefully he’ll be ok for the weekend

So instead of getting better this break, we've now lost amrabat and casemiro and Malacia is actually out til new years and not just another month?

Nice one.

Morocco coach said Amrabat was a precuation and seen nothing to suggest Casemiro is injured? Played 90 last night

Oh you're right. What was that whole thing about casemiro getting an ankle injury? Thought he had left international duty!
