We're playing some good cricket...shame its only in the ODI's.

Your batsmen seem to lose the plot everytime in the middle overs...weird bunch.

No opinions?Or will you just bang on about HIV or something very funny like that.

We're shit at one day cricket. I have never said otherwise.

England still havn't learned how to structure their innings in one day cricket.

With Flintoff and Pietersen we ought to be better. I think we need to settle on our best side and give it a run.

We're missing Tresco, big time. Strauss has been poor.

I fully expected you to give us a good fight after a decent Test series.

Too much chopping changing going on.

And you have no good batsmen.Aside from the South African.

I still can't understand why Bell isn't in the ODI team. The major problem for England is that the batsmen don't know how to build a score. In the first match they didn't take the singles when they really should have won. In this game they were going well, taking singles, then when the powerplay was taken they seemed to think they could just smash every ball for six, all they needed to do was find the gaps and get the odd boundary. There is also no need for two wicketkeepers, drop one and put Bell in. Of course missing players doesn't help.

You're right about this. I dont understand Englands selection policy. I can underdstand Hoggard being left out(although he was picked here), he seems to struggle in one day cricket. He loses his temper and is easy to get away in the shorter version. But they need to pick a team closer to the test one. Some of the batsman just seem to be there for the sake of it.

I think one proper batsman should do the trick. Dont mean to be rude, but this is the scoreline with our top order not firing, which normally always does, and without the man who has been Indian cricket for a long time. I think one technically correct batsman like a Dravid, not necessarily in that mould, but one you can rely upon, is needed. Petierson is a good one day player, but in the end you dont want your innings to rely on the likes of Peterson and Flintoff. Its like us, fine Pathan and Dhoni are there down the order. But the likes of Dravid, Sachin and Yuvraj have to hold the innings together.

I'v really been impressed by Collingwood. Plays spin really well, very good one day player.

Be careful not to catch AIDS, if you're not already HIV+.

We should've played the one-dayers first or maybe more parctice matches. The Poms would be drooping by the time the tests came around. They looked half dead in the afternoon yesterday.

Cochin, Goa in the summer are a fecking nightmare - hot, humid and totally energy sapping.

Obviously. A 5 match series would've been enough. The English lads would rather be back at home. Strange decision, to play them after the event, that's for sure.

Although it's better not to go into a Test Series on the back of a draining and morale-sapping ODI series...

Yes, but I don't see the point of playing them afterwards. It's never done that way in England. Or it wasn't.

Yes, a nice three match Natwest Series used to be the order of the day...

That was before the Asian bloc started interfering with th ICC.

They're worse than the Eastern bloc.

India's going to take over cricket. Sheer size of the country. Big money player. But they'll always be shite on-field.

India has never been good at sport.

Except Kabbadi.

Imagine being conquered by a country from another hemisphere.

It must knock your confidence.

Australia????

Slabb's your geography is well ropey.

But the Australians are descended from conquerors. It's the abos whose confidence got knocked.

The Indians aren't descendants of their British conquerors.

England and India are on the same hemisphere.

Australians are descended from rats.

I meant Eastern and Western hemishperes.

Britain is in both.

If you think about it. Everyone's Eastern and Western.

No. The meridian line passes through London, the centre of the world.

It's an imaginery line.

Greenwich the centre of the world. Yes, I can see that one.

Not all Indians are idiots. That would be racist.

Though I can't currently think of any who aren't, but that doesn't mean that there aren't any.

Come on, Slabbs, you're well racist. Why not just admit it?

Yes I'm very racist. But I never said that all Indians are idiots.

Because it's statistically unlikely. There's over a billion of them. Surely, at least one of them isn't an idiot?

Surely?
