Well that’s your opinion, of course you are entitled to that. I’m not sure what you mean about over that period though? This season I’d have Casemiro, Martinez and Rashford as a clear top three and suggest the most impressive thing about Bruno has been availability and endurance, his performances have been inconsistent. Last season Bruno was terrible and cost us in many big games and moments. The season before that Bruno’s form and output fell off a cliff from January to May.
On the basis of this, then even if you can claim… but nobody had been better who has been here as long, it’s more of an indictment of the football club than anything else and certainly isn’t impressive.
This season is the first season since SAF retired that we have had consistently good performance levels from 3/4 players.
His form, without question, has been up and down - particularly last season when the entire team lost its way. But the failings of the team as a whole over the past several years make Bruno's overall good performance levels even more impressive, for me. It's clear that we see him differently, that's fair enough.
