The only consolation is that we've had so many bummings in the last few years to Liverpool and City that this one will kind of blend into all the others after a while...

Even the most pessimistic among us probably expected a tight one goal difference win for Liverpool, not this.
I understand the sentiment expressed by the OP, however, what if his thread had been titled: "if Liverpool win tomorrow by the biggest ever margin since 1992..." would his/her message have been the same?

If you’d said to me at the start of the season we’d have 6 points from both City and Liverpool fixtures I’d have snatched your hand off. But this just feels horrible.
