Either gives us ~M90€, or Verane + money. We don't need Bale anyways, and Ronaldo will be 30 soon.

That said, if he doesn't want to sign new contract, and Real doesn't want to pay his real place, play Valdes, or buy TerStagen and bench DDG for a year. (We need to show that we are not to be bulied buy agents and Real / Bayern / Barca ).

Those sort of demands are ridiculous. And in a real world we're not going to do what you're suggesting. Would be very silly imo.

Yes. That's why every time our player want's to go, or Real / Barca / Bayern / PSG offer him more money, we will have to sell our best players, end become BVB of Premiership, forced to pay ridiculous amounts in the M20-35€ range for players like Jones, Smalling, Shaw (I do believe he is a great player and our LB for the next 10 years, and I would even pay 35M for him, but in real world the that amount is plain silly).

We need to show some backbone, and that we are not afraid to bite the bullet, even if it means we will lose some money.

Extreme measure, but probably would be a good thing. Very interesting though and was having the same thinking myself. If De Gea doesn't want to sign a new contract, then put him in bench for a year.
