If It is true he is on 200k a week then thats 10m a season

If its true that moyes sees him as back up then 20m is a lot to spend on a reserve players wages for two years

Add a potential 20m fee for selling before his contract runs out and the 40m combined fees and saved wages does start to seem like a lot of money for a player who seems to be set on leaving

Perhaps arsenal might put in a bid and bump the price up but im resigned to him going to chelsea but hopefylly we can use the money to fund a move for a talented versatile young forward such as a reuss or lamella... most importantly though is to find players who want to play for us
