New Zealand too good today as they have been in white ball cricket against Australia in 2016. Some questions about Australia's order need to be asked. I'd have Warner and Finch open if the latter is fit, Watson at three and Faulkner should bat higher than he did tonight.
 
Brilliant stuff. Conceded 200 runs in 40 overs vs the two best batting lineups.

Sets up the group nicely. Winner of Aus-Ind takes the 2nd spot.
 
Got the same feeling that we might get knocked out by Pakistan, if that happens will that be the first time they beat us in ICC competitions?
 
I didn't expect the Kiwis to win either game, fair play to them!
 
Worry for the other sides has to be that NZ have managed to defend two under par totals (and that without both Boult and Southee in the side, who for my money are better than both Milne and McClenaghan). The win predictor had Aus at 81% at the start of their innings.

If they get their batting in order they could win this easy.
 
I wasn't watching... How the feck are they doing this? They've set two pitiful totals and won twice.

Love it. My company does businses in the UK and my VP who is Brit was asking me about India NZ after we got spanked.

Can see the argument but we are a batting side, I feel. Would rather Root, Buttler, Morgan set the tone than our bowlers...
 
English's bowling is a bit rubbish.. havent seen much cricket recently.. what happened to the usual bowlers like Broad, Finn?
 
I wonder if England will ever get it through their heads that having a left-hander is pointless if they're not actually good enough to play international cricket.

Gurney, Topley, Willey stream of mediocre medium pacers.

Roy, Vince, Root, Buttler, Morgan are very good players for this format. They've got good spinners in Rashid and Ali and a genuine match winner in Stokes. I think they'll do well here.
