ICC T20 World Cup

I have a question, earlier on a batsman hit it and it hit the other batsman's bat and into the bowlers hand

Does this mean one of the batsman could in theory tee up the other batsman to smash it over the wicket keeper providing it doesn't bounce and the bowler doesnt intercept

As far as I know, this can be deemed as obstruction of play and the umpire can give him out.

Cricket has some silly rules. It bounces off the non-striker's bat and he gets caught -- should be a dead ball the instant it hits the other guy's bat.

The other one that is genuinely stupid is people being given out when it bounces off the turf when diving in for a run.

Only the 1 game yesterday and now a 'rest day' today?!

what a game that was earlier not the best of cricket on display but a lot of heart by the Netherlands, England are in trouble already

Dernbach is a total tool. How on earth is he playing international cricket?

Malinga in top form.

Class from Hales and Morgan.

That last reverse sweep from Morgan was superb to watch. Such incredible hands.

the real tragedy of D/L being used in the last England match was the manner in which it destroyed England's NRR.

What an over!

England choking a bit...

Brilliant century. Well played. Surely they'll win from here.....

Incredible shot to win it. Brilliant innings, superb!

You reckon the net run rate shouldn't be calculated for any matches that get decided by D/L?

I'm wrong. Ignore.

NRR is calculated on difference between the cumulative run rate. The first match had big impact but that'll become negligible once they play more matches.

Great innings, finally an entertaining England batting performance.

Few better hitters of the ball than an in-form Gayle.

Going to be a close finish to this game...
