What an over from Ajmal. Thought Aussies bottled it after the first ten overs though.
 
Great game.

Good comeback from the bowlers after initially being hammered all over the place by Maxwell. Fielding is still poor and the seam bowling is still a little bit concerning, though Gul bowled better today. Umar Akmal batted beautifully and Ajmal came back superb in his final 2 overs. An entertaining watch.

A win for India should all but put them through, hope Windies pull off a surprise...
 
Never a dull moment when Pakistan are in town. What a game!
 
The Australia team selection was quite poor imo. Surely they've got better T20 players?

Pacers have been expensive in this tournament. This is Asia. Australia simply lack quality spinners.

Johnson did have a good IPL on similar pitches and his bowling style is effective anywhere but agreed Hogg is good but he is over 40 and Murihead is young and not ready for the best teams yet. We do have part timers but Finch gets smashed and Maxwell can be hot and cold.
 
Smith has just eaten up a quarter of the balls in the innings for 11 runs.
 
Why the feck is Yuvraj playing? Its not like he contributes much with the bat or the ball.
 
For a supposed bunch of trundlers, India have bowled excellently in the first two matches.

Looking very much like favourites to win the whole thing at this early stage.

In all seriousness, am a little worried about Jadeja's performances in T20. He doesn't seem very effective when people are looking to attack him and this is counting against him in T20.

Our bowling's lightweight enough and we need Jadeja to perform well.

Just looked up his numbers in T20 -- bowling average 41 for India and 31 in IPL.
 
WI need to drop Russell for Rampaul. Bowling's not good enough. Too many all-rounders.

That win should put India through to the semis, I'd be shocked if they didn't make it.

Windies batting was clueless. Indians bowled well but no excuses for the Windies' RR to be that slow.
 
Hope that's the end of Yuvraj's tournament. Absolutely awful with the bat, and also dropped what could've been a key wicket.

If WI beat Pakistan, India are through, assuming all teams beat Bangladesh.

If Pakistan beat WI, it will come down to NRR.

In that case, Pakistan will end up on 4 and I think Aus are gonna beat India, leaves one of Aus/WI on 4 points in a 3 way tie.
