Isn’t it basically the same argument as if there’s rain in a test match? Just delay the game instead of calling it a draw.

The same thing almost would have happened to England to be fair if they hadn't beaten India. I'm sure there would be a few people angry about it but in the grand scheme of things I think it would be minimal because either Australia or India are going to win the World Cup and they're not missing out. Pakistan have just missed out on getting beat by Australia essentially.

That, scoring 105 v the Windies and struggling v Afghanistan. The weather's definitely had an effect but Pakistan underperforming against teams they'd expect to beat is the bigger issue.

What are you banging on about. The pitches are flat due to the hot weather, they are the same for both teams. The pitch then became slower during the innings and difficult to bat on. There is no rebirth of English cricket because we have been playing well for the last 2 years across the world. I know that may grate on people such as you but that's the way it is.
Has some good players of whom we cant hear the end of. Youd think Butler is Haydan, Archer the new Waqar and Root Brian Lara

I'll watch the semis but those two teams are clearly the favourites.
If it happened to England then losing to Sri Lanka and Australia would have been a bigger factor, England would still have been unlucky as Pakistan if NZ lose here. But England would have caused a lot of the problems themselves.

If you beat Bangladesh and that's not a given the reason you will go out is because your NRR is awful.

I dont have anything agaisnt English cricket but the fact English media is framing these rain impacted days as "Ah well we couldn't predict it such is the game. Doesnt matter though does it!".
On top of that I'm against these flat pancake pitches that ruin the game for me and this current English team really benefits from that.
