Di Maria's angel
Captain of Moanchester United
West Indies were decimated by Australia in the first warm up. Not quite sure about them - having all that hitting power, for me, doesn't make them that strong a team.
First pitch we've seen curated by ICC and spin is already dominating. Nothing like the 720 runs scored in 95 overs on the same ground a week ago.
South Africa are scoring at 6+ in their game, though.
This Shahzad guy somehow keeps getting fatter and fatter every time I see him.
Well I didn't claim that every pitch will be a dust bowl but in general ICC won't be obsessed with 450+ pitches like the ECB are.
Can he reach the legendary Bermuda whale level?
Both are them are class. Raja was poor in the beginning but now good voice. I love Manjrekar as co-commentator. He is always class.Commentary squad:
How do the likes of Manjrekar and Raja keep getting picked? At least there's no Shastri, Danny Morrison etc.

This might be a tournament for team with World Class Spinners. I fear Afghanistan if their batting clicks. They can cause a few upsets.First pitch we've seen curated by ICC and spin is already dominating. Nothing like the 720 runs scored in 95 overs on the same ground a week ago.
Which match?
Pak-Afg. Afg spinners been brilliant and getting assistance from the pitch.
Amla and du Plessis on the wicket, two class and technically gifted. I would like to see their other players against the spin.Africa is plonking Lanka in the other warmup match.

India is always going to do good watching these wickets gripping. Turn is good and with a little bit of pace. I haven't watched Srilanka for more than a year. No idea how their spinners are.
Enough internet for today.I love Manjrekar as co-commentator. He is always class.
Yea exactly. Best kit amongst all teams to me.England kit is absolutely beautiful. Can't believe that people didn't like it
H Pandya isn’t someone who you want in inside 6 overs but the last 10 absolutelyOh man, what a start. 24/3... good job we didn't pick anyone who showed good form throughout the IPL.

Rahul, Dhawan, Pant, Kohli, Iyer, Surya Kumar Yadav, Dhoni, Rohit, Pandya, Rahane
Who should we've picked then? Literally it is just Pant from that list who has an argument. All players who are playing today were in the top scorers.
I'd not pick anyone based on IPL form, in any case. Two different things.
The conditions are great - I hope we see more of this.
No, what I meant is.. we've picked all players who made runs in the IPL which you were suggesting we did not..I don't know about Rahul in ODIs. And for me, Dhawan and Rohit are far too similar to continue opening for India and neither showed great consistency in the IPL.
