West Indies were decimated by Australia in the first warm up. Not quite sure about them - having all that hitting power, for me, doesn't make them that strong a team.

This Shahzad guy somehow keeps getting fatter and fatter every time I see him.
First pitch we've seen curated by ICC and spin is already dominating. Nothing like the 720 runs scored in 95 overs on the same ground a week ago.
South Africa are scoring at 6+ in their game, though.
Well I didn't claim that every pitch will be a dust bowl but in general ICC won't be obsessed with 450+ pitches like the ECB are.

it seems that there'll be a concept of away jersies this tournament. India will play in a different color in matches against England and Afghanistan due to jersey clash.
This might be a tournament for team with World Class Spinners. I fear Afghanistan if their batting clicks. They can cause a few upsets.
India is always going to do good watching these wickets gripping. Turn is good and with a little bit of pace. I haven't watched Srilanka for more than a year. No idea how their spinners are.

Nabi and Khan are class tbf. Don't really need to pitch assistance to bowl well.
Amla and du Plessis on the wicket, two class and technically gifted. I would like to see their other players against the spin.

Fielding seems to be a major weakness. But yeah, anyone expecting a walk in the park will be in for a major surprise. On their day they can beat anyone.
