Great innings by Trott, Morgan is the perfect player to play alongside him as well. I am with Mike, some criticism of Trott in this tournament has been ridiculous. He is playing his role down to perfection, it is the others who have not been able to do their job.
I wonder a lot if David Lloyd doesn't understand cricket. Back in the T20 world cup, he kept saying "In the 6 overs of powerplay, you can afford to lose 4 wickets, but you must maximize the runs.".. now at the 30th over he was whinging saying England should've been more aggressive. They're playing brilliantly.. 240 is very much defendable on this wicket.
SRL have the same problem as SA. Too dependent on the top 4. Lower order not in great form and a long tail. Their last 4 can not bat. Murali will be coming in at 9 I think!
England need to get a move on now. Problem for them is that they can not really count on Prior.
