ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

Done and dusted. Pollard's not a cricketer.
I do not see much difference between him and Pathan.. he is probably more consistent than latter. Both are a poor man Klusner anyway. He was a proper batsmen along with a brutal hitter.

I've seen Pathan drive a couple of times, yet to see Pollard do so. Against the really good bowlers, Pollard gets out more than Pathan probably.

Strauss shouldn't have bowled Bopara for that one extra bowler, Pollard thrives on bowling like that. Needs to bring Bresnan back in now to wrap it up.

The 5th bowler quota's been almost bowled out by Bopara and Wright -- one left in that. But Tremlett going for runs has severely handicapped them. He's bowling one, now. Need to get 6 more out of him and he's not getting any purchase. Handicapped by their own choices.

And as I type that, Tremlett goes for a six. Andy Flower hasn't sussed out ODIs in the sub-continent. Terrible team selection, even worse squad selection.

Both are flat track bullies who just heave at any ball under their bat.

Yea. Last couple of overs have leaked runs. Game isn't going to last the full 50. Bring back the strike bowlers.

Thought it was out meself, but I hope that third umpire's given the freedom of Bangladesh. One of cricket's gentlemen, whoever that third umpire is. I hope he's retained for the quarter final in Dhaka, and that his first born son achieves entry into a well-respected university.

Advantage to batsmen, its common knowledge and thats what forced the 3rd umpire to rule in West Indies' favor.

I think they should make the rule similar to football.... ball should cross the boundary... fielder touching or crossing it should not matter. Though I know that would also introduce a situation where fielder will be standing outside taking a catch and it will be disputed if the ball crossed the line or not.

Thought it was out. Then Trott's reaction indicating that it might've brushed. Simon Taufel's the third umpire though, good umpire.
