ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

Shit. Ed Joyce and Kevin O'Brien gone. Very, very difficult from here. 89 needed off 62 with 5 wickets in hand.

Wilson gone LBW, strange call, given the review showed the impact outside. 199-6 with 8 to go and this one looks all over.

The Umpire decided that Wilson didn't offered a shot to the ball that's why it was deemed out. The rule is that if the Batsmen doesn't offer the shot then it doesn't matter if the impact is outside the offstump.

Horrible decision actually, he was clearly the playing shot.

I don't know enough about the rules, but cricinfo basically said it was a poor decision. Cusack gone for 2, runs have dried up, and this one's finished.

I think England are crap in the power plays , don't have a clue , they are making Bangladesh look a decent side.

Struggled against Netherlands, lost to Ireland and poor today, need Anderson to bowl as against South Africa

231 all out after 49 overs. Five things that lost us the game were dropping Pollard on 19, scoring just 7 runs from overs 5 to 12, not taking the batting powerplay earlier and losing O'Brien and Joyce at crucial times.

Poor batting from England, maybe they should've played Yardy.

England's games have been great entertainment so far so hopefully this is another close game.

I always get the feeling Trott plays for himself and not to the teams needs.

I think they said that the highest winning score on this ground was less than this, so there is a chance

What makes you say that?

I think he is a brilliant player. Further to that, decent knock by Morgan on his return to the fold.

It is really frustrating when England have such a fantastic side on paper, but just can't get everyone fully fit and playing together!

The thing about Trott is that he is reliable , and holds an end up and usually guarantees you a fifty, it's the rest that's the problem today

feckin Mushfiq has gone out in that exact fashion more times than I want to remember. He just cannot face a ball that straightens from middle and off.

EDIT: Although the above has little to do with Raqibul Hassan, who was the actual batsman who got out. Never mind.

We're making these runs in extras which is a bad sign. If there's one thing I've learned from a lifeime of supporting these useless cnuts, it's that we can bottle it from any position.

I think England may have a better chance in 2015 - these Ashes tours seem to take it out of the players. Quite why they needed 7 ODI's I have no idea.

Before anyone says anything - I am aware that Australia were playing since November as well, but I think a four month tour does push the limits of endurance and introduces a fair amount of apathy in the players. Half this lot look like they want to go home. To be honest, I don't blame them.

It's going fairly swimmingly at the moment but the fact is that the next wicket could hasten a spectacular collapse. On the plus side, Ashrafeckwit's been dropped, so we're at least one wicket up in aggregate.

Relax man

Mainly because we stick with the likes of Collingwood and Yardy when we have Bopara and Rashid in the wings.

EDIT: Yes I know Bopara is playing and Yardy isn't, that doesn't change my point.
